From 2000+, all three branches of government (even now, with a record use of the filibuster). Regulatory agencies protecting industries they are suppose to protect us from. Record deficits, corporate welfare, blocking reregulation leading to today's credit meltdown, destroying civil liberties, etc. The fiscal situation improves under Democrats and deteriorates under Republicans.

McCain and Palin are habitual liars. They have been repeating the same lies everyday since their convention. The press says "they are lying" and they continue with the same lies. The Republican party is devoid of intellectual honesty, they will say and do anything to maintain power and avoid prosecution for the crimes they have committed.
The McCain ticket is hardly about change since it has been abundantly clear in a variety of recent appearances that they are as willing as anyone else in the current Republican administration to tell any lie and distort any facts to achieve their own self-serving goals. McCain used to be thought of an an honorable man...guess Bush really did get to him...some maverick he turned out to be. He is so far out of touch with who is used to be that he now considers Palin a worthy running mate...sad!!
