  • long live the US

  • The Union for Ever! For Lincoln and Liberty! Down with the traitors and up with the Star.

  • soldiers of the union were the true Americans, piss on Dixie.

  • God damn the Union, long live the Confederacy! Nonetheless it is a nice song:)

  • Go history!!!!

  • Go history!

  • The United States. Such a young, glorious and interesting country. I've never seen an entity that comes close to it's prestige. Good on ya yanks.

  • @0:27

THAT´S KEN CURTIS OF FESTUS / GUNSMOKE FAME ?

  • Proud to be a Yankee, a Northerner and a descendant of a Patriot in Revolutionary war! Down with redneck rebels!

  • 1 person was general lee! XD

  • God bless the Union and all the Northern sons who sacrificed themselves to preserve it.

  • Fuck you grayhost 8

  • Graygost8

  • How's that "freedom" working out? Enjoying them high taxes Yankees? Still looking for a job? Detroit, New York, Boston, Philadelphia must be the safest cities to live in.

The smartest Yankees were the ones that deserted.

  • @GrayGhost8 and how is the south? That inbred incest doing you good? How about all of those illegal immigrants you are letting in without stopping doing? And i bet you are LOVING the fact that Eight southern states have obesity rates over 30% of the population. Also the fact that The South also has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the country. Not to mention all of the dumbass red necks that infest the South.

  • @porterbehling Incest? Typical from a Yankee. Only the Southern States are fighting the Illegals. Ever been to PA with all those Mexicans? Obesity and teen pregnancy is your best argument? Lordy, you must be hating it up there in that polluted, high taxed, flash mob attacking, welfare kingdom called the North.

I'd rather go fishing with a dumbass redneck than have dinner with a Yankee from Detroit. Less likely to get "flash mobbed".

  • This sounds an awful lot like The Dubliners!!!!!!!

  • Great song but they have a bit of a stretch @1:22. Winfield Scott was a great general, but he was way past his prime and his service was mainly as a desk level general because of his advanced age. The other Union generals were determined to win, but they weren't particularly skilled.

  • hw who listends to this song should be shot in the ass with a cannon ball!

  • God bless all the Union heroes!

  • to bad the generals they named kinda sucked... god bless the union!

  • god bless america... to bad the generals they named were kind of sucked.

  • i highly recommanded better generals

  • cool pics

  • I highly recommend reading "For Cause and Comrade" by James M. McPherson. It describes in great detail the motives of the men in blue and gray who fought in the Civil War.

  • UNION Sgt. Rueben W. SCHELL heroic bearer of the Union Flag at White Oak Swamp VA. The flag got riddled with reb bullets, Sgt. Schell didn't.

I too proudly carry the name SCHELL.

  • my great great great great great great grandfather fought for the Union in the Indiana regiment and fought at Shiloh but he lost his life to disease.

    R.I.P Grandpa

  • I love the music of the Civil War. And the Union and the Confederacy.) Very much. Vivacity, enthusiasm and courage.

Let there be peace and happiness in all countries and will not be fratricidal wars!

  • I always get grand fathered in with the confederate but east tennesse really did not have much loyalty to the confederate cause.I believe for that reason east tennesse was treated much better by the union. The deep south farm owners caused alot of the problem and they are the true johnny rebs.We are just bare foot hill billys here.

  • Long live the U.S.A.! I support the troops then and now.

  • I march with the yankee army. Yankee Artillery all the way.

1st New York Light Artillery Reynolds Battery L.

  • The tune was originally "We are coming, Father Abraham, 300 thousand strong."

  • as much as i love this song and the union, its ironic that it is about porters division, which had many of the cowards of the xi corps "flying dutchman" and was so unsuccessful that the commander, fitzjohn porter, was courtmartialed and dishonorably discharged.

  • @gobabygo90809 Porter's division did not contain any of the 11th Corps, Germans. What would become the 11th and 12th Corps had fought against Jackson in the Shenandoah Vally 1862 Vally Campaign.

Fitz John Porter did nothing wrong at 2nd Bull Run. Pope's orders were confusing and even Longstreet backed up Porter after the war. Not till 1878 did a military court finally find Porter, not guilty. But by then his reputation was ruined.

  • @swiiila

A fetus, excepting the last few months, is

hardly more sentient than a plant. Indeed,

misconceptions happen all the time in the

first month and no one sheds a tear about

it. A fetus is not a "bouncing boy", it's

hardly anything. "He" can't feel nor care if

you abort him, so only the effect on you

    personally matters.

  • I agree with your analysis of the Founding Fathers. Some of them did take a stand, and many of them has questions about it regardless it. That said, it was a common practice of the age, and to even been thinking about it deserves credit. How many things do people accept blindly today as being ok merely because it is traditional or publicly accepted? I disagree with your abortion prediction as history is moving against religion, but I thinking hitting kids is something history won't be kind about

  • robertz1986

I for the most part agree with you, but how is being against abortion religious? Yes I see it from a religion view point, but still, many of people might not disagree with it because of religion. It may just be because they do not support the killing of unborn babies.

  • About done with your foul typing? You must use about 30 different accounts on YouTube. You seem to type the same shit all the time.

Our founding fathers owned slaves and even before them, people owned slaves. George Washington owned over 300 slaves. Was he a lunatic?

I never read any of you idiotic, "John Brown's" harp on George Washington or many of our founding fathers.

    Pretty typical.

  • @rebel2276 i feel that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. nawwleans is an extremist, but the same could be said for many supporters of the rebels, so i dont feel it is right to go off on him because of his views

  • @gobabygo90809 That idoit does not have an "Opinion" but trolls on any Confederate video and types the same ass shit. He will use over 40 different screen names, but its the same idiot.

  • Rebel dumb fuck -- oh yes, SC had white men fighting for the Union. But they had the fewest. Each other state sent at least a battalion to the Union.

South Carolina was by far the most Nazi like State, with the most slave owners, the biggest dependence on slave pussy and power. 50% of the families owned slaves -- and most of the others wanted to.

  • Meet -- Im not smart -- I just know enough to read the South's own words, documents, and books from that period.

I read Yancey, Toombs, Davis' own books and speeches. Southern Editorials, diaries, letters,

It's a shame the US education system has covered up the Nazi like evil, words, actions of the Confederates and slave owners.

The truth is, in many ways, the Confederates were more cruel and evil than the Nazi's thought of being.

  • what do you mean give up? You mean surrender?

  • @meetman3,

He has many different profiles, a few of which are 12FlyMe, IowaSea, RonPaulHatesBlacks, etc... He is a full-time organized effort though I'm not yet sure as to the purpose.

  • No More -- my purpose is to tell the truth. What's yours?

  • It makes a difference because the Confederacy was not synonmous with the South, like everyone assumes.

Slave power ruled -- the families that owned slaves owned everything -- newspapers, the legislatures, they wrote the laws about who could read what, who could run for office, who could say what.

If you don't understand that the South was very much like Nazi Germany in 1930's, then you don't understand anything

  • Thank you for your reply. I agree, this IowaSea needs to clean it up. I don't appreciate filth on my youtube page or any where else. Thanks again.

  • Iowa Sea is the same idiot that is 12FlyMe, also NawwLeans, he uses over 30 different screen names on YouTube.

He tries to make it look like other people are backing him up, but none are. He will friend himself as well, lol.

I actually get a kick out of that idiot.

  • He will NEVER list any sources of any kind. I challenge him all the time, but he will leave and come back a month later with his same old bullshit.

Get this....he lives in Texas, lol

  • Get off your "soapbox." I made this video strictly for entertainment and that's all. Brave men were on both sides of this conflict, please remember that.

  • @nedland20 huzzah to that!

  • All one has to do is look at the dates, there lies the truth. North had slavery throughout the war, also Blacks, Amerindians & Jews owned slaves. War was about State's rights.

Michael Hoffman's "They were White And They Were Slaves" is a great expose of a very much suppressed period of American history.

  • Comment removed

  • Meet -- wrong dumb fuck. Congress never passed such a thing. Maybe you are talking about the Corwin amendment? That failed, even with Southern slave rapers votingn for it.

  • THe Southern States never committed Treason against the United States, I cant help but to notice that my replys have been removed. Whats wrong..dont want the people to know what a wrong goverment that Mr, Lincoln led? I really dont blame you. I would be ashamed also.

  • Cool little video! Well done. ...please view mine. It is new. Just click on my name. Thanks!

  • those indians always trying to keep hommies down

  • March on! Hail and Vikctory from Germany my friends!!

  • There are several songs by this tune. How many can you think of?

  • Wearing of the green.

    Wearing of the grey.

    Rising of the moon

    and this one.

  • Great video.

    GOD SAVE THE UNION!!

  • ...and may He keep it together in these times.

  • Amen to that.

  • is lincoln in any photographs?

  • Lots

  • Excellent photographs--I haven't seen some of these before. Where did you get the recording of the song?

  • As I recall, American indians were perfectly willing to enslave Black people and cooperate with the confederate rebels in their treason against the United States.

  • @znamrennug kick down some more blankets assfag.

  • @znamrennug Some were, not all. That's why there was civil war within the Indian Territory (now Oklahoma) around that time.

  • @znamrennug

Some were. Stand Waitie, the celebrated Cherokee general, was slave owning planter.

  • @znamrennug , treason like with the rebels against the british during the revolution?

  • Killing for the sake of slavery was a different.

  • @joncobber: Or the Lords at the battle of Runnymeade? Fighting for your rights was fine old English tradition at that point. It was years into the war before popular sentiment turned to independence as the best solution given the intransigence of the King.

  • @znamrennug What the hell do the American Indians have to with this you dumbass? Why dont you support your claims with documented evidence. Firstly were there Natives with the CSA? Yes, and many natives fought for the USA as well. Secondly, the CSA wasnt committing treason, treason can only be committed from within, not by a foreign nation. The CSA was a foreign nation, besides, if it was treason, why werent any confederates ever tried for it?

  • @znamrennug

I agree this civil war was treason. But there is a fine line... the founding fathers made it clear that sucession was a RIGHT if the govt became too big and too invasive... like it is today.

  • @michcool1012

Please, pray, where is succession (note spelling) mentioned in the Constitution as a right? I thought it was to form a "more perfect union." (note the quote
