When you say third party, there are a ton of third parties, and Dr. Paul can't control all of their messages. What Ron was saying is that we need to break the two party system. Period, and he helped all of these "third" parties agree on a common platform that the Republicans and Democrats wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Politics is the art of the possible, and voting for any of the third parties would have been better than voting for McCain or Obama.

For Ron Paul it's less about supporting 3rd party candidates than it is about falling into the idea that the 2 party system is all we have. Ron Paul doesn't ENDORSE Ralph Nader or any of the 3rd party candidates.
He's sick and tired of the charade of the fake "2 party" system.
The POINT is, "voting for the lesser of 2 evils is still voting for evil." If you can vote 3rd party and vote your conscious- DO IT!!! Paul wasn't supporting 3rd party candidates but more OPTIONS.

I'd ahve to say. Even if you have supported Ron Paul I think you miss his message and what he stands for. He doesn't defend his rights. He defends everyones rights. He had to invite anyone for the style of press conference he was having. He couldn't say these guys are cool but lets ignore the fact that others are in the same boat. It was fair treatment. You have to understand he doesn't fight for his own ideas. He fights for everyones.

The press conference was on 4 topics. He sent it at least to the 4 third party's with enough electoral votes to win the presidency. In fairness he had to do it. You can't pick and choose in the situation. She signed it and it gave her the right to be their for that event. People don't always agree. But when you do agree you can't not come together on that issue because you disagree with other topics. It is counterproductive. It wasn't the place for political grandstanding.

He didn't endorse any of them, he endorsed you looking up and voting for the best candidate you can stand behind, not the lessor of 2 evils.
I support his announcement and wish the Campaign for Liberty would host a debate with any and all candidates.
