naw it depends on how much the sub can handle ....depending on the impedance load or ohms load (ex. 250watts at 4ohms ,400 watts at 2 ohms ) the watt load are different depending on the ohms load of the sub .......but it depends on how much continuous power the amp gives out ... thats why u gotta get the right rms power but it depends on the ohm load and the rms rating of that specific sub.
