So far after listening to the albums "Principle of Evil made Flesh, Dusk...and Her Embrace, Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa, Damnation and a Day, Cruelty and the Beast, and Bitter Suites to Succubi, and various songs from all the others, I have to say the one I was least impressed with was Damnation and a Day and the one I have been most impressed with is Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder
their new stuff is good (their new cd is really good) but it lacks in the something that made them so excellent and i dont thing its only atmosphere its atmosphere, passion, poetrical lyrics (they still have good lyrics), dani's voice (i like his new voice as well) and something else. Cradle of filth always (until godspeed on devils thunder) gotted that something. that something that made them special (still playing good music no doubt)
