man yoyo I'm from there. take yourselves on a smoke dive up see canyon durin apple season. best apples and cider in the world! Chill place to cruise and burn to. do the whole loop. start near avila and end up in slo. Love that place. Now I live in oregon. Check out the dunes on the southern coast of oregon. ie: coosbay,winchesterbay. its about 15 hr from pismo and well worth it.

Thanks, yeah you need one. Lately I've been to places that didn't require it and now they do. Plus its a safety precaution so its not a bad idea to have one even if its not required.
