"The Cremation of Sam McGee" was composed by Robert William Service (January 16, 1874 – September 11, 1958) "The Bard of the Yukon" was born in Preston, Lancashire , to Scottish parents. He went to school in Glasgow and emigrated to Canada. He died in France. The reciter is Irish but there's nothing Irish about the poem! Well presented though :-)
