  • What you talkin about :D hes Jew. Jew's now officially have they're own race. Rap is a genre of music, not color

  • White rap? what the fuck are you talking about, it's hip hop, it has nothing to do with color, it's about soul, unity, liberated minds, not about color of skin. It is news from the streets, and all colors come the streets. From Jeff Dalton

  • In this case, this is definately not quote unquote " white rap". I remember back in '89 back in high school, one of my partners gave me a Cactus Album cassette and after having listened to it from start to finish, I asked him " Are these some white boys?" This is dope and real, much better than the Beastie Boys and " White, white, baby!" This is realer than real hip hop.

  • OK, I get it, you don't like 3rd bass, but almost every link I seem to click, there you are! Complaining about how much they suck. For someone who dislikes them as much as you, you sure care enough to post. Did 3rd bass break your heart? I grew up listening to them, don't bump it much now. It is what it is, get over it!

  • I disagree with your comment.

  • brooklyn queens rough as russell simmons its like tyson rushin givins...thats beautiful he's talkin about whenmike tyson punched robin givins in the face back in 90. that skeezer deserved it....pete nice is the fuckin man.

  • classic!

  • Love this beat

  • def jam years...

  • Did ya'll notice that Welcome to Atlanta by JD and Luda took this video concept?

  • dope

  • I never quite acheived the MC Serch high top fade :)

  • I remember seeing these guys live in Oakland back in the days. Quality hip hop here. No phoniness. East Coast style!!!

  • luckily its not trying to be funny... third didn't make the vid... the producer who made the vid needed to make the story,so take the funny as it is... so its what you got. beasties got the metal edge of this going...third got the stylist, lyricist side of it down! And to add... beasties aint close to this!

  • Take a look at MC Serch's Shearling - that was str8 NYC gangster stylee for you young tight jean wearing homo's!

    Timeless on your @ss !!!

    NYC 4 LIFE !!!!!!!

  • beastie boys better than this??? you people are crazy.. this is a fuckin tune right here. No beastie boys can touch this. Beastie boys actually suck... they have that weird rock rap niche, but it gets old too fast. Their voices are annoying too. This is fucking old school right here. definition of HIP HOP

  • remember folk this was made in the early 90's. this is the shit 3rd bass brings back memories

  • i loved this album, you could listen all the way threw without fast forwarding classic

  • amen to that. a collection of good songs. not just 2 singles and a shitload of stupid skits. i'm 31 years old and i still rock this album on the regular.

  • PRIME MINISTER PETE NICE!!!

    dat's all im sayin.

    gas face 2 all haters!!!

  • u say that beastie boys were a comedy?1 look at this video and tell me their not tryna be funny their whole thing is comedy...beastie much better

  • you talkin all that comedy jack, but truth is YOU'RE the clown. bigdud12345 definately on the gas face list.

  • mc serch gets the gas face cuz he hates his own race...pete nice out thta wigger in hie place.....ragger....ragger...RAGGER GETS THE GAS FACE AAAHHUUHHH

  • lmao serch gets the gas face are you nuts... he is the one who discovered nas you idiot who is one of the most respected rappers ever

  • hes just a clown , nas wudve been discovered without him

  • maybe but would illmatic been illmatic without serch producing it?

  • serch didnt produce one track

  • i worded that wrong... i meant to say do you think illmatic would of still been illmatic without serch managing nas>?

  • how he a clown anyway he can outrap 90 percent of that idiots selling shit now... he damn sure better then that lil wayne and souljah boy, gucci mayne and faboulous and shit

  • he is better then them, but he still sux

  • how can u put fabo in the same category as them....yo, how old are u?! LOL

  • who but fab in same category..fab is horseshit// fag cant rhyme for shit

  • pussy ass

  • you don't know me kid. and for all i know you're a clown, can't take your ass serious.

  • a clown like mc serch? oh i gotcha

  • haha stupid kid. you don't know shit. hip-hop grew up on this shit, these clowns as you call them were part of the revolution that you are now so proud of. old school is what it is. don'T diss your elders if you don't appreciate them but you gotta show respect. Or just listen to that mainstream and/or dirty south bullshit and mind your own fuckin business.

  • listen to a real mc

  • pete nice and mc serch is true hip-hop. don't tell me what to do. signing off.

  • poor kid....

  • ....o yea i forgot.. NEW RINGS DICKHEAD LMAO

  • the actin in the video is mad funny....mc serch tryna act black lol

  • hell yeah 3rd bass up in this mutha fucka

  • 3rd Bass were the first white guys of hip hop. "Licence To Ill" was more of a parody of rap. The Beastie Boys have skills but 3rd Bass came with that real New York flava. The Beastie Boys are more alternative rock than rap. House Of Pain is crazy ill. I'm sure if 3rd Bass didn't break up they'd have as many albums as House Of Pain. Both House Of Pain and 3rd Bass came through with dope hip hop!

  • I would have to agree with you emphatically. Even Russell Simmons when questioned about 3rd Bass replied that "3rd Bass is the Real Deal". I was going to say the same thing about them. The Catus Album was amazing but The Catus Album revisited and Derelicts of a Dialect were great as well. I would have to say as much as License to Ill was a parody, Paul's Boutique was not, it was for real.

  • Pete Nice had the Brandon Walsh haircut!

  • No, Brandon Walsh had a Pete Nice Haircut

  • I love 3rd Bass but they should have never dissed the Beastie Boys, they out lasted them and there are better

  • Serch once said in an interview after 3rd Bass broke up that he and Pete didn't want to diss them. It was Russell Simmon's stupid ass idea to do that.

  • are you kidding me?? the beastie boys are still making albums......where are 3rd Bass now?

  • my bad I meant to say The Beasties out lasted 3RD Bass

  • kool , i do dig 3rd bass though , old school .... Steppin' To The A.M. and the Gas Face were pimp.

  • The Beastie Boys are not better then 3rd Bass. But the Beastie has done more to hip hop by doing more original music. 3rd Bass got more MC skills.

Love this song, the perfect fall chillin and thinking of fly ladies song!

  • I would must rather have a 3rd Bass album over House of Pain any day. There's a lot more enjoyable songs on 3rd Bass's albums.

  • Wasn't Ice T and Eminem the one who called Everlast fake?

Serch has done a lot for hip-hop. Look at how he brought up DJ Eclipse to NYC to live with him and Chantel. Then look at look at how much DJ Eclipse has done for hip-hop. Between working at Fat Beats and working with a lot of people including Necro and Non Phixion. Funny how things work.. Serch brings up Eclipse who now works with Everlast in La Coka.

  • 3rd Bass was the shit. There's no way Everlast would ever beat Serch in anything.

3rd had a string of hits.. Steppin' To The A.M., Product Of The Environment, The Gas Face, Pop Goes The Weasel, and I could go on.

Serch is more respected by people if you ask me and still does a lot in the industry.

What's Everlast up to? Faking gangster by being in La Coka Nostra? I mean, I'm a bit fan of Ill Bill, Necro, and Non Phixion by themselves, and the La Coka songs are good, but Everlast is fake.

  • lmao! too each is own!

  • Yo I coulda sworn we had this conversation before.

  • its true, MC Serch may be a better mc than Everlast, but Id MUCH rather have a House of Pain record over any 3rd Bass record.

  • Do u mean Everlast as a solo artist or including the stuff he did wit House of Pain? Even though MC Serch is a slightly better MC, no 3rd Bass album is as good as any House of Pain album. I like em both but thats just keepin it real. Take this stupid ass song as an example. Plus, 3rd Bass were not the original white boys in rap, how bout muthphukkin BEASTIE BOYS? & about Everlast being fake... how do U know? & why would it MATTER 2 a Hip Hop fan ? it doesnt seem like u know wtf ur talking about

  • Yes, the orinal white boys of Hip Hop. They got NO pub even though they were ill. See how BLACK ART is discriminated? I believe they were shunned because they kept it real (not by Black folks, everyone liked them). No fukin Eminem can compare to this. Nuff respect to the Original white boys of Hip Hop. Thanks for keepin it true.

  • You can ask just about anybody in hiphop that everlast would destroy search lyrically now dont get me wrong 3rd bass is classic i'm not saying that but house of pain was just better!!!!! check out there last album "rise again" that shit was better than any 3rd bass joint!

  • You must be on CRACK or something. Now I KNOW you dont know 3rd Bass. Everlast wasnt even respected. He is not even considered a rapper. Where in the fuk did you get that idea? Everlast made ONE damn song. HOP has NO classics. NO ONE from back in the day would even consider your statement.

  • and by one damn song I mean, ONE popular single which only got "amped" for various reasons.

  • Moniqtee dont know wtf she talkin about. forget her. she makes no sense. she's a poser.

  • um, No. ......... Beastie Boys

  • UHM NO.. and fuk Beastie.. BEASTIE DOES NOT get credit for that because they were NOT intended to be a rap group, but instead a ROCK group. Back in the day when rap was getting popular they were advised to try that genre instead and THATS how they became rappers.. SO FUK ALL that. 3rd Bass started out as RAPPERS so they hold the crown. Like ive said.. that HOP sht was WHACK. WHACK @SS commercial @ss Hip Hop. Fuk what you talkin about. Because YOU dont know what YOU are talkin about.

  • So they started off doing Punk Rock, who GIVES a shit?? They were STILL the 1st white boys in Rap. They dont need ur CREDIT. As good as 3rd Bass were they aint shit compared 2 the BB. Now tell me how House of Pain was commercial. What commercial song did they do? JUMP AROUND? As oppose to POP GOES THE WEASLE? ON POINT as oppose to HERE IT COMES? HOP selling more doesnt make em more commercial (especially in those days). It was all produced by DJMuggs & DJLethal, their sound was just better 2most

  • word the fuck up!

  • Plus, why all the hate towards Everlast? DId he fk ur mom & forget to call later? Whats the deal? Do MC Serch & Everlast got beef? If they do, why does one have to be the shit and the other have to suck? Is it possible to like both rappers? Neither of them pay ur bills, so wtf do u care? Im not taking anything away from 3rd Bass, ut if u deny the Beastie Boys House of Pain, u aint shit. U dont know wtf ur talkin about

  • U aint sht you little piece OF TURD. Coming on here tryin to reflect the game away from Real Hip Hop. Im like Ice Cube "No Im not a suck sittin in a HOuse of Pain..." haha ha... I dont give respect NEITHER group because you dont hear White america give the same respect to 3rd Bass like they do those other white boys and you have to wonder why... Anyway, you get the muthaphukin GAS FACE B!TCH! For that dumb sht you just said. House ofPain WAS LAME AS FUK. NUFF respect to TRUE Hip Hop! BIATCH!

  • "I dont give respect NEITHER group because you dont hear White america give the same respect to 3rd Bass"

Ok, so ur point is that u dont respect them because White America doesnt respect 3rd Bass? Ur not making any sense! What does white America's acceptance of 3rd Bass have to do w/ the Beasties & HOP? How do u tie those things together? Nothing u say makes sense

"you get the muthaphukin GAS FACE B!TCH! "

LOL, wow, i need to stop talkin to POSERS

  • lol

  • better than 95% of all the rap now,.gay pride

  • I wish you were too. Back then you had to have talent to get a record deal. Sadly though that isn't the case any more.

  • why does this sound 4times better than what is being played on the radio??

  • cause the sounds were metered different back then for " radio versions " .... i hated it too ..... you had to buy the 12" versions to enjoy it better ..........

  • my mom is in this vieo !!! the lady in the white shirt

  • The "Golden Era" of Hip Hop..

Anyone who missed the 70's thru the early 90's, then goddamnit, ya ass just missed the REAL shit..sorry, ya ass was just born too damn late..

  • "You got me any of these rings? WHY DON'T YOU STEP OFF!" Classic.

  • real dope tha south killed hip hop with that weak wack HIP-POP MUSIC WITH A SLOPPY BEAT AND A WEAK ASS POP SOUND...

  • i'm from the south & I grew up in the Golden Era of Hip Hop..we didn't kill hip hop..

Gangsta Rap is the culprit in this matter..

That was the Pandora's Box that was opened that led to the madness U see coming outtta my neck of the woods..

I agree, it is some SUPER WACK shit that comes out down here..U won't get any argument from on that shit LOL!!

God I can't stand listening to that shit..

  • i guess you never heard of the Ghetto Boys, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Arrested Development or 2 Live Crew. it's not the south. trash raps comes from all over. there's plenty of whack rappers getting MARKETED to be mad nice, when in reality, they ain't. hell, some "legends" of hip hop out there that dropped the ball back in the 90's and nobody pays that truth any mind.

  • 3rd bass was the only white group in hip hop history TO DATE TO GET RESPECT FROM THE 5% AND THE ANSARS SO GET IT RIGHT KID..

  • Word up!

  • Search thought he could dance!HA!

  • love some 3rd bass man

  • Anybody that disses any member of 3rd bass have no clue what 3rd bass did for hip hop. For all the kiddies out there who don't know - check it. MC Serch was part of 3rd bass. If there wasn't a 3rd bass, then there would've been no MC Serch, and that would've led to no Nas!!!

  • actually its DJ serch no a he was an mc but he goes by dj

It's a damm Shame how sooo many people agree with the way hip hop has gone down hill... I hope one day we will get back to real lyrical hip hop.
