  • Stephen Lynch and J. Michael Zygo were SO much better as Robbie Hart

  • And wow, this version of the song is definitely flat, boring, unemotional.... ugh. :/

However, I give the tour props for allowing a baritone to play Robbie. :)

  • Wedding Singer is a rock and roll musical. You have to have the voice for it, and this guy does not have that rocker edge.

  • damn that was bad! it was flat, boring, and the girl's voice was too classical for this song

  • ya merit!!!!!!!

  • ok...i'm playing julia right now and i'm obsessed with this song...while listening to this i was expecting that final note to be a big belt, the way we do it in our production. then it gets up to it and she TOTALLY BAILED. im sorry im not trying to be 'that guy' but im eighteen and i belt it every night and was REALLY disappointed when i heard this =[

  • This guy seems bored...

    must have known someone.

  • they both seem to be able to sing but im not moved at all by that like a listener should be

  • Wow... noggin i thought you were being skeptical but... dang... I need to go listen to a good choir after that.

  • Your an ass that is a really hard song and id like to see you do it better... there is a reason they are on a Broadway tour and your not.

  • I'm open to it being the recording quality. Sometimes compression flattens vocal tones faster than the other instruments for some reason.

I think people are afraid to admit when Broadway isn't as good as it could be.

  • Thats not true i hated The Seagull on Broadway and also Gypsy... but they are still the best for that part... way better then you could ever do..

  • Cool story bro

  • @xoxoMorie Naw. this was pretty bad.

  • That was shockingly bad..

  • I'm italian and i love this song! ^^

  • I saw it on broadway and of course when i go Stephen wasn't performing that day. But his replacement was great!

  • i agree. was this tour non-equity?

  • though i would have worded it differently, i more or less agree. lol

  • I saw the show in Atlantic City and I have to disagree, the guy playing Robbie was one of my favorite parts of the show. I thought he was amazing.

  • I also saw it in Atlantic City and the actors were great in their roles but I was very disappointed that the took about 4 or 5 songs out of the show. I guess they had to condense it but they left "If I Told You" out and that was my favorite song in the show! Otherwise, it was a great performance and I have seen both the tour and the original Broadway cast.

  • i saw these two in atlantic city, and the guy playing robbie was not good. his voice was too soft, and he didn't sound good singing with others. julia however was very good

  • hey i was contemplating seeing the show in atlantic city...is it good? i loved the show but i don't likee the guy playing robbie

  • i saw the show, in mass. and im seeing it again in atlantic city. I thought it wuz good however. but, we have our own opinions

  • stephen lynch was much better

  • wow, i honestly can say (since i saw these two live) that they were better than the original (i love laura and stephen to death but these two just kicked butt)

  • I knew if was based on a movie. However I didn't realize until recently that it was an Adam Sandler movie. That kinda killed it for me. :(

  • the tour was better than i expected, even though it will never as be as good as when I saw in Seattle before Bway. I still don't understand why the tour cut "Pop."

  • because it was a non-exuaty group of people touring. and because they werent equaty they had to cut one song, make one costume different, and one set peioce different. so it wasnt the same as the exuaty group

  • the atlantic city tour cut this song...and i hated every second that i wasnt hearing it

  • Same here!

  • i just saw this last night!! i loved it!

  • This show is incredible, Must see, I loved it

  • totally saw this tonight... and met Merritt, just as nice off stage as on... but the show was amazing if it is in your town totally go see it... oh my... amazing

  • Why did they walk out!?!

  • saw this on Friday.. and so many people walked out.. I was shocked!!! one of my favorite shows..Merrit and Justin both get props for this show!!!! love them

  • Why did they walk out!?

  • Um,,, they were old... and didnt like the bad words,,, the fist time... SH%#$^T was used... they walked... unreal.. But the show was incredible... the thriller moves was when i was on my feet!!!!

  • i just saw this show today and all i can say is that it was FANTASTIC!!!

  • I saw this cast, I actually thought everyone was fantastic! I much preferred him to Stephen Lynch.. But I guess you'd have to see it. This wasn't a very good time, it seems like, because when I saw it this song was a blowout success. I loved it!

  • Wow, I am really glad I got to see Stephen Lynch and Laura Benanti because I would have been sad if I had to wait for the tour and ended up with this.

  • steven lynch is better

  • woooooooooow she's rough...

  • This is so much worse then the original. The seattle cast is way better than the tour cast

  • the wedding singer musical waz good

    1

  • omg where can you find tour dates?

  • Is this song in a different key?

Very excited for the tour though!!

  • Yea it's a bit lower than the OBCR.
