This is actually pretty cool! I'm gonna have to rummage through the bins at Panda Palace and make a couple of these! All I need is about 42 of em, hydrogen peroxide and a UV lamp to sanitize, a tiny drill bit, and some either high-test fishing line or stainless steel wire. That, along with time and patience.

this gives me ideas for artistic re-purposing of chopsticks... although your not conserving much. bamboo is a grass, some species can grow several inches an hour, meaning that anything cut to make chopsticks in one year will be back again the next year, or will have expanded. its very hard to control, bamboo spreads like a weed!
