Actually if you watch the entire vid. you'll see that the Lions preyed on the Crocs. But the crocs are preying on their cubs which means that their population can't rise. It's amazing how the Lion swims across the river and the crocs don't want anything to do with him.
Actually, that is incorrect... the lions are TERRIFIED of being in the water with the big crocs, which could easily grab them with the most powerful jaws in the animal world, and both male and female lion only cross the river, by swimming quickly, before the crocs know they are there. Ironcially, the true "ruler" of the river is the non-predatory hippo... even big crocs loose when going up against a full-grown hippo.
And yet Lions prey on hippos. Watch the documentary and you'll see a male lion swimming across the Crocodile River. Lions can swim. Crocs. were preying on their cubs and Lions were preying on them. So it wouldn't make sense as to why a Lion pride lives so close to Crocs. Yes, Crocs do have the advantage in the river, but on land it's the Lions.
why is it so bright?
