So the way to scale Ruby is to intercept requests at the load balancer thereby bypassing Ruby. And gee, static content performs better than dynamic content, thanks for informing us of the obvious.
@ejohnsonify I agree! For ruby folks in this video scaling is just the number of page views...I can make a website in prolog and put a loadbalancer with memcache infront so my prolog code will rarely get hit by a request. I bet I can make a million hits per day app in PROLOG!
