It was early March 2008 and I don't know if you remember, but there was a major blizzard that buried the city. So I ended up driving through a couple feet of snow to get to the Grog Shop and join the other ~20 idiots who made it to the show...... great times

About the Foo Fighters: I like a lut of there stuff, but I don't love it. I think Dave Grohl is an amazing guy, drummer, singer and guitarist, but bands like Dinosaur Jr. sound just more 'real' to me (amazing performance!).

Btw: listen to the first Foo Fighters album. it's simply called 'Foo Fighters'. Dave made it all by himself, when Foo Fighters was still the one man project he started after Nirvana and not a band. I think it's really great ;)

Agreed. The first Foo album is the only "rough" and "real" sounding one. Everything else they've produced, while often good, has been very polished and rather boring, IMO. Foos can't stand next to Nirvana or Dinosaur Jr.

I saw these guys with the Cure on the Wish tour and while the Cure were typically good, Dinosaur Jr B blew them off stage. And yes they did play Just Like Heaven and it rocked hard! Love these guys and I am glad that they are back!
