"The fourth dimension in this space was sometimes interpreted as time, but this is no longer done in modern physics. In the last century spacetime was developed, which unifies space and time but with a different metric so the time dimension is treated differently from Euclidean space. Actually, if you look at an orthogonal graph of 4 dimension, time can simply be view as another form of distance. To understand this, look at an orthogonal graph of 3 dimensions and if you apply x, y, z, -x, -y, -z coordinates to the hexagonal shape, you'lll see that it is exactly an octohedron connected by all the points. Specifically, it looks like eight pyramids with a base of 3 points and not 4 (not a tetrahedron. With a 4D orthogonal graph, you can apply t and -t as factors.
