First off, really enjoying your videos... Second, I used to play an awful lot of MP Civ back in the day (used to be pretty good too on the old civplayers ladder!). Anyway I've just been getting into single player lately. I know nothing about the AI... It hadn't occurred to me that different leaders have their own characteristics... Some tend to go for wonders. Some have to be pleased with you to trade etc. I guess its all in the xmls. Is there a decent guide on this stuff somewhere?
Though, I do like where you settled your fourth city. I actually like how you made the two cities I described into one awesome one. Though I still would have settled your third one 1W.
I don't really get why you settled your third city where you did. Its better in the short term, but in the long term, the farthest East spice and the one to the west of it will provide no benefit to your city when you eventually are able to work it when your city border pops 2 and 3 times. A city one south of the farthest spice would also be a pretty bad site, anyways. If I were you, I would have probably settled 1E, or 2E and have a second city 1E of the bananas, and the iron city 1W of the dye
Are you going to go crazy on the offense when you pick up your vikings or wait for another tech? I remember one game I played with vikings recently in Civ 3. That was enjoyable.

Did you gift Alphabet to Bizzy? Why did you do that?
harryfromwork 1 year ago
@harryfromwork He didn't gift it, the AI demanded it. If he'd refused, he'd have been risking Bismark declaring war on him.

I didn't check, but how are you making 47 BPT in 500 BC? Are you running specialists or something? It doesn't look like you cottaged much...

@TheAsharedhett
FIN + passive commerce tiles (ivory, seafood, etc). Throw in palace and FP cottages and you're about there.

Pangea is gay. When you said "Pan-gay-a" I laughed. Mainly because it's true. I like your "Let's Play" videos :)

I was informed of that over a year ago, but figured it a semi-play on words given my opinion of that map script usually :p.
