  • paint scheme is ugly but it sounds killer for a vg33, good job

  • how many HP it have ?

  • Only a Diesel Rubicon would make me part with my Nissan Xtrerra for fun off-roading.Though if Nissan beats Jeep to market with the diesel, than I'll stick with Nissan.

  • @six6wings You caught my eye with this post haha I would prefer a Nissan but I will probably go to whoever brings a diesel first.

  • what type of rims are they

  • What year is the xterra?

    The motor? vg30 or vg33?

  • @menahunie007 vg 33. The 1st gens only came with the 2.4 I4 or 3.3 v6

  • all it needs is a kraft cheese logo on the side

  • that thing is sick it's giving me some good ideas

  • the blue and yellow sceme looks bad...no affense...should have done yellow and black.

  • Sounds great but the paint is louder than the exhaust. Wow that thing is YELLOW!

  • how hp thes have ?

  • how difficult were these to install?

  • thisthing sounds good, in case any of you want to know a few frontier owners used either doug throley or pace setters i forget long tube headers for the vg30 engines. in order for them to work you need to modify them pretty good but they will fit around the engine and tranny, just though i'd let you know and they are cheap. the xterra sounds good i hope to one day (if i still have my frontier) to install a nice pair of headers on mine.

  • I own a 94 Pathfinder running a VG30E with Doug Thorley Ceramic Coated Headers(fit around engine and Automatic Transmission without problems)/Flowmaster Two-Chamber 40 Series Cat-Back 2.50"/Jim Wolf Technology Cold Air Intake/Nology Hotwires and it fly's down the road. Check out my video of it being revved and idling at a cold start in winter on a clear cold morning.

  • your pathfinder sounds real good man!

  • I'm looking for headers for my S/C Xterra. Do you know if headers from the frontiers wil work? And how much modifying is needed to make them fit?

  • they should fit, i don't see why not, same engine, same heads, everything is the same. i would install a pair of headers on my frontier but i don't want to have troubles with emissions and what not in my state.

  • what kind of headers are these? where can i find headers for an 03 xterra thats supercharged?

  • What kind of muffler? Magnaflow?

  • love it, i think im goin to do this to mine

  • I've owned an my Xterra for a year and a half and the only problem I ever had with it was someone slashed my tires. I got friends with Pathfinders that have over 300,000 miles on them. Go Nissan or Go Home.

  • I had one before. Totally under-powered truck and lots of engine trouble.

  • V-6 or inline4?

  • 3.3L V6 VG33E

  • thanks

  • no these have 4.0 v6

  • no, its a 3.3 v6....the 4.0 was not available in the Xterra until 2005+....first generation xterras came with either the 2.4L KA24DE 4CYL or 3.3L VG33E/R V6/Supercharged V6

  • sorry i didnt mean to start an argument with captain xterra over here

  • just clarifying, no need to be a douche

  • yeah your right becase its not like you can see the frunt of it to know what year it is sorry fuck off

  • ooohh goodie an internet tough guy!

there are tons of differences between the rear end of a first generation xterra and second generation xterra....i would think that if you knew what size engine was in it you would at least know what each looks like

but keep acting like an ass, the internet is laughing at you

  • okay captain xterra tell me what the smallest fucking difference is bitch

  • ok man, listen, i was just trying to correct your statement to avoid any misinformation....but, if you want to be a twat about it, go ahead...like i said, the internet is laughing at you.... i didn't correct your comment to be a dick, i corrected your comment simply because it was wrong....

if i went on the internet-tough-guy forum and made post about someone being an absolute tool and i made a mistake, im sure you would be right there to correct me...because you're 'that guy'

  • @baf6 He's a douche. I just showed 4 difference he couldn't tell apart from the new and old Xterras. ;)

  • @ScarletKILLER22 Difference #1 - look at the spare tire - the newer model does NOT have that wheel spoke pattern. #2, The rear bumper of the new ones has those little indents like a "step" to climb on to reach the roof rack, #3 the white part of the tails is smaller in the newer ones, #4 the fenders are more squared/angular on the new ones.

  • sounds amazing. gotta love that s/c scream in the background

  • its not supercharged

  • sounds good looks terrible

  • Looks like a Lego truck.

  • hahaha yeah, that's exactly what I thought!

  • you have a xterra?

  • yup, it's a red 2001 manual Xterra. It worked good for some years but now it´s constantly giving problems to my dad. They did´t sold very good here in Mexico so it´s hard finding most of it´s parts with a Nissan dealer (where's the only place where you can look for them).

  • What headers are those? How did you go about getting them? Im looking to put some on my 01 x

  • looks top-heavy. show it in action and prove me wrong.

  • yeah i've seen one like that in nc it went drving past me it was pretty good lookin

  • im diggin the color

  • interesting color choices...

  • nice dude

can you let me know what you had done to your X?

    like what parts you used?

    thanks

  • Wow...looks and sounds like a pissed off bumble bee...

  • No, he is from NY, not NC. Oneonta NY, a friend of mine.

  • ahhh....i coulda sworn he was in nc or va or something...i know he used to be in VAXC. virginia xterra club.

    either way. awesome truck.

  • actually, i'm almost positive he's in nc...and i know his truck, he's in a few clubs with me.

and 911996, if you knew anything about xterra's and wheelin, you'd know he's not gonna roll.

  • this nissian by any chance located in north carolina i saw one just like it same color and everything goin by me on a road

  • Good looking truck...but way to top heavy...we'll see this one on the roll over segment in the near future.

  • It sounds like a dune buggie...

  • hmmmmmmm, you might have sold me. haha

  • sounds awesome! i have a 2004 xterra SE and ive been lookin for a dual exhaust. did you make this custom? do you know of any places i can get a good sounding exhaust for my truck?

  • Seen this X before, looks so nice...

Cant forget that blue and yellow look :D

  • i think VG engine sounds nice than VQ's, however they both sound nice.

  • 3.3 never sounded so nice..
