This episode was always one of my favourites, and now with new experiments concerning the speed of light coming into focus... who knows what we can accomplish for the next generation.
Only time will tell, and I hope time tells well...
@MOTODESIGN09 It sounds to me like you have not been paying attention or you must disagree with everything he says. you did get one thing right, he was gone too soon.
@01sircharles ? Oh the religous statement, yeah I know. It's just what people say to be nice. Yes I understand fully what he says. I'm kind of a science geek. And I believe we were created, by or shall I say altered, other beings.
this episode blew my mind. the whole series is amazing, but when sagan starts talking about interstellar transport--incredible. thanks endlessly for uploading.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. I have only just come across Carl Segan's Cosmos - the original broadcast was way before my time. Needless to say, I'm completely hooked. What an incredible programme. It should be compulsory viewing in schools. Brilliant brilliant work!
One of the most brilliant and inspiring scientific series ever, even if some of the information is dated by today's standards. Carl Sagan's passion for the cosmos, for life, and for knowledge continue to inspire me even though I've watched this countless times.
@KasirRham Theirs nova in pbs and the science channel has series like cosmos but thei're no ware near as popular as sagans show was but they do offer newer information

How horrible it is that it is not people like Sagan who lead nations, but rather people with no scientific intelligence i.e Bush and Palin
