  • Some other breed just with spots.. Common misunderstanding

  • @breanneburtch just because a horse is spotted does not mean it is a paint. I know lots of people who say horses are "paints" and really they are some other be

  • Aww it even scared me when they spooked lol!!

  • This video is so cute! I love seeing baby and mama together. :)

  • clearly not quarter horses the moms a paint(which either he sire or dam could have been qh)but you can't get a paint or pinto from 2 pure qh's. Just saying as non horse people if seeing tis video would then mistake all coloured horses as quarter horses

  • aww he is the cutest!! :D xxx♥♥

  • How old is the baby now?

  • Lol I jumped! xD beeeeeautiful horsies!!! :D

  • BEAUTIFUL HORSE!!!

  • I love how the mom has a white mane and black tail and Splash has a black mane and white tail ^.^ hehehe

  • @CodysTuffLilLena , ha ha! You are very observant! That is one of my favorite things about them, that they are opposites with the mane and tail. Tks.

  • if you look closely, the mare spooked and made the colt spook

  • @thearabianwolf , She sure did. And that was because the neighbor's sprinker heads popped up from the ground and started spraying! ha ha! Mom had never experienced that before!

  • Is the baby gaited? Moves like it there for a while.

  • @ffaqueen08 , No, he isn't gaited. Wish he was! ha ha! Gaited horses are so smooth.

  • so he is 1/2 Arab, 1/4 Quarter 1/4 paint??? the spook scared me btw!!! lol

  • so he is 1/2 Arab, 1/4 Quarter 1/4 paint???

  • @cammarkgross, you ask an interesting question. A 'Paint' horse is an Quarterhorse with Pinto coloring. So, he is actually 1/2 Arab and 1/2 QH. The Arab breed does not carry the paint color at all, so to get a horse that looks Arabian with those colors is very fun. They also get the best of both . . . speed and stamina!

  • They are both very beautiful. Their colors are amazing.

  • @AppaloosaForever , awe, thank you.

  • thats actually kinda funny....she sppoks right out of no where... well atleast i couldnt see or hear anything from the vid... and no body got hurt

  • aww cute

  • good job

    but where is ur helmet?

    especially on cement

  • You are so right! Should have had that helmet on. Don't know why I didn't that day. You don't need it until you need it!

  • @thunderita Every time I fall off a horse, I get back up and say, "And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why we wear helmets." Once I fell off my horse when he spooked during a trail ride. I landed on my back, bounced, then landed on my head and slid about a foot. The day prior, one of the adults at the stable I work at told me that I should wear a helmet when trail riding. :D

  • Thanks for your comments. They really are good. His Mom hardly ever spooks and is excellent on our trail rides . . very calm. He seems to have her temperament, with the exception of sprinkler heads popping up!

  • Well his mom spooked too-- they were good! Ponying is such great exposure for babies! He is really handsome.

  • Horsepaintings, Thanks!
