This is one of those songs I have heard well over 500 times and I still enjoy it. That little drum riff at the very end is a great little "extra" to a great arrangement.

I only knew the Frankie Lymon version, with that wall of brass on it that was more big band than the rock and roll he usually did. But Benny did some great records and was a trailblazer when that was a very risky thing, and deserves a lot of credit for it.
