  • has your hair gotten any thicker since you started using amla powder

  • your beautiful

  • What's that cream that you put on your hair before the coconut oil?

  • @venisehughes - My own "moisturizing mix". Check out Vlog # 33.

  • hello did you leave the application on or did you rinse out? do you prefer the amla powder or the oil?

  • Nice video:)

My company sell organic amla powder - amlaberry.co.uk

  • Thanks for the video, it was interesting but I'd also love to know what you use on your skin. You are radiant. Do you have naturally good skin or do you have a special routine?

  • @Genevievesacct - It's all natural. I don't do anything special for my skin. Since I'm getting older...maybe I need to start? LOL

  • hey we sell organic amla powder if anyones interested at amlaberry.co.uk

  • I love Alma Powder, i mix it in with my henna when i do my henna treatment, it keeps my curls from loosing from the henna. Great video.

  • You sure go through a lot of trouble with taking care of your hair.. for one who has so little of it.

  • @karekare13 That was a snarky comment and totally uncalled for. For the record, just how much hair do you have.

  • @Mimi2560A I didn't mean for it to be snarky. o_O I was just stating a fact! I really meant no offense. I have a lot of hair.. it's very thick. x_x

  • @karekare13 That was a rude remark. I am wathching the vid and I wouldn't place a comment like that to display. I think it's great to take care of your hair no matter the length as long as it's healthy.

  • @justgo24me Once again, I never meant for it to be rude. I think it's easy to misunderstand people over the internet.

  • @karekare13 No we understood you clearly.... Firstly if someone doesnt have alot of hair....how do you expect to have alot of hair if they dont take care of it from the very beginning. Maybe you're the the one thats misunderstanding. i think that your comment would have been more respected if you were trying to be rude and funny.... But to say something so ignorant and then disclaim your intentions.. very lame

  • @elizoli86 I'm not seeing how stating a FACT is ignorant. Can you explain that to me? Uh...?

  • @karekare13 if ur ignorant enough to ask.. im sure you would be too ignorant to understand my explanation. Toodles

  • @karekare13 wow. thats an incredibly bitchy thing to say. what are you 13?? and fyi healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. you can have hair down to your toes but if your scalp isn't healthy then it could all fall out tomorrow. and watch what you say to people i have a feeling you're either young or foreign...

  • @pajamagirl123 You must be the 10th person to comment on me. I already said I had no intention of being ignorant, is a fact ignorant or bitchy? Where did I say it's not good she is doing this? Do you people have nothing better to do than bitch out someone who already said many times she did not mean to be rude? I'm neither young or foreign, why don't you stop assuming things. :) It's bitchy.

  • @karekare13 The fact that she has short hair is not bitchy. Stating the obvious and the way you came of was bitchy and I'm glad I'm reinforcing the fact. Learn to pick your words better next time. That's all I'm saying. And Canada is a different country the last time I checked. So...yeah.

  • @pajamagirl123 How's this? I don't give a FUCK if you think I sounded ignorant or bitchy, because I wasn't trying to be. Think all you want, that doesn't make it so. I'm not going to change the way I say things because all of you are little butthurt whiners. YOU need to stop having a fit over something someone types over the internet.

  • @karekare13 ...feel better?

  • Hi, :)

Why You used tea tree oil with amla?

  • What is the watery stuff that you used in the white bottle? Is it a secret? You can tell me I won't tell lol. =P

  • hey- i think it is great that you appreciate your hair so much. i got some amla powder today from the Indian store..I have psoriasis.I know psoriasis is less common in black people so I was wondering if you are trying to treat psor. or just using it as a beautifying kinda thing. If you are using it to treat ps. is it working? I hope so. thanks for the blending instructions.

  • that's a whole lot of work for one application. so ... did it work?

  • great video thanks! ive actually been using that multani mitti that the other person mentioned. i have a lot of these products and ive been buying mine online at theindianfoodstore . c o m - ive been mixing amla and shikakai and have great results! i use the multani on my face as that is what it is for.

  • heyy u guyz head up from the same cimpany thers something called " MULTANI MATI" itz incredible for ure skin u wont believe how clean ure skin gets n how the whitheads and blackheads go down itz reall really gud!!!!!!!! send me a message for how to apply ! ULL LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks karir990

  • wow is this just for black people or can

anyone use it?Does it help thinning hair

    on top for men?

  • @abgarcia74 - Anyone can use it. Amla helps you to retain the hair that is already on your head. Look up Bhringraj, which is herb that actually helps to restore lost hair. Use both of them together for a potent hair treatment

  • Where can one buy this particular product in the U.S.? And what the name of this product, too?

  • its acctually for indian ppl... from the gas stations... do yeh its for thining hair

  • now what...

  • you should be in films.. we all like you.

  • Didn't see you rinse any out... is that correct?

  • PS what was the lotion you put on your hair (and rubbed into your hands) it looked like a hand/body lotion bottle. Your nails look beautiful and well taken care of too by the way!

    Stay Beautiful and Natural!

  • Hi MzTeaCake, Ur hair seems light or med brown. Since this video is how U massage Ur hair w/ Amla, I am guessing this is a routine for U. I can't tell, but can U tell me have U seen a darkening of Ur hair from the amla? Supposedly it darkens grey. I want to use it for the health benefits of the hair & scalp, but I am not dark haired & am concerned w/ it changing my hair color. Did U see any of this? I have amla, but afraid to use it. Also what is the name (brand) of Ur amla oil. Thanks!

  • Did that bottle say DUDU?

  • what was in the bottle you were shaking up, that you added honey to,conditioner?

  • I have neem powder from the same company. Same woman on the box too..

The last time I used it on my itchy scalp, it broke me out worse.

  • Wow. I've never heard that happening before! Sorry to hear that.

  • you need to use amla and coconut oil (pure) , neem is anti bacterial and can be drying for some people. itchy scalp is caused bye extreme dryness.

  • I have eczema but I will try the coconut oil. Thanks!

  • yes coconut oil is AMAZING for eczema , you can google it you will find lots sites about that .

  • Try Coconut Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Grapeseed Oil and natural skin creams that have skin healers like Calendula, Neem, Aloe Vera, and Burdock Root.

  • Does the powder form have mineral oils in it?

  • I don't think so. I've never heard of mineral oil coming in a "powder" form before. I don't have the box anymore but the language on the box was foreign if I recall correctly.

  • please! where can i buy amla in nyc.?

i am dominican but i want to go natural.

  • Not sure. I'm not from NYC but I would try an Indian grocery store.

  • u can buy it at ur local indian or world market...if they dont have it, u can buy it online

  • Enjoying working my way through your videos. Can you tell us what brand your amla oil is? I haven't been able to find one that doesn't have a mineral oil base--will probably just make my own, but sometimes laziness wins. ;)

  • The oil I had did have mineral oil in it. I've not used it or purchased anymore since. The powder must really be popular because it's always out of stock at the Indian grocery store where I purchase it.

  • Thanks for getting back to me. If I *ever* find a pre-made one, I'll let you know.

  • Did you make the amla oil yourself??

  • Oh no. I purchased it at a local Indian store.

  • Thanks for showing me how to use the alma powder. I bought some last year but I didn't know exactly what to do w/it. The neem oil is excellent for psoriasis of the scalp. I mix it w/my hail oil and sleep w/it on my scalp overnight. My scalp has cleared up from using the neem oil. I also now know that I have to watch what I eat to control the psoriasis.

  • Wow! That's good to know. Thanks for the info.

  • she takes care of that lil bit she got

  • Aw yeah! I'm tryin' to make this little bit into a whole lot more. lol

  • I know... gurl some people have plenty lookin a mess and dont take care of it. I think ur short cut is so cute on u.

  • Shikakai, sorry...

  • As a tip and for someone who comes from the same culture...add Amla powder to Apple Cider Vinegar(controls Malesezia furfur/pitrosporum orbiculare...cause of seborrheic dermatitis aka dandruff). May add Shikai and Neem powder for extra zest. Rest well, keep a high water(8-10 glasses/day) with loads of proteins(egg white,Fish, chicken breast, chick peas, lentils). A good multivitamin with trace elements daily may do the trick for some. I hope these tips help.Best.

  • Great! Thanks for the tips! :)

  • Fantastic Video!

  • Thank you. :)

  • did you mix the powder w oil or water?

  • I mix it with just water.

  • Hi, what is the name of the song? whose it by?

  • Short hair is so FUN! But what's the amla powder for. Nice regimen

  • Amla (Indian Goosberry) powder does lots of things; promotes luxuriant hair growth, prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth, helps to prevent scalp infection and controls greying of hair.

  • cal-dONIA! what makes your big head so hard??? LOL....LOVE the music, hon!

  • My moma luvs that song. Great tutorial.

  • Thanks for that video! Girl, when you put on that glove you looked like you were about to do a rectal exam, lol! I am definitely going to get some Amla powder, looking for some local Indian shops here.

  • Thanks! You can definitely tell the music I grew up around by my videos. lol

  • Ooh, a true jazz head. I love the music.

Oh, and great videos too. LOL!

  • lol...if that's the case, I'm addicted to ALOT of people's videos.

    Addicted to videos = subscriber

    Glad you like'em!

  • Hello Sista, I want to know are you still using Natural-Laxer? What is the 123 for ur hair routine? And all the products...I am trying to follow your videos and I am lost..but I love each one I watched...

  • Yes, I immediately washed it out with an all natural black soap body wash. My hair is still so short, I do nothing to it at night...outside of a plastic cap every now and then.

  • Did you eventually wash that out of your hair? What do you do with your hair at night? Braid it up, twist it.. or just sleep on it? I'm 3 mths post my BC, & conflicted about wheter I should be braiding or twisting at night or not. I have my trouble spots at the same spots as you. I hope ours both fill in the way we want it to.

  • I LOVE that song and I LOVE amala powder. I mix mine with shikake and silk Pepetide powerd for a strengthener. Nice video:-)

  • ooh that sounds lovely but where do you fine silk peptide powder?

  • You can purchase Silk Peptide Powder from: fromnaturewithlove I can't finish the web address here but you can search it . You will find other goodies there as well.

  • thanks so much!

  • Great video!!

  • the music is funny! your videos are great!!!

  • Thanks....LOL That's one of my Father's favorite songs. I wonder if he meant I was the one that was hard headed. LOL
