I voted for Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania Primary last week. I could never vote for Hillary Clinton or John McCain. Hi jonperry. Science does not support Rev. Wright's assertion concerning AIDS. According to a PBS special I saw, AIDS came to the USA by "patient zero" who was a flight attendant from South Africa, which surfaced in the homosexual community first. This male flight attendant was accused of being a sort of "Typhoid Mary". I want to say as well that Rev. Wright's tone is not biblically sound. The Bible also does not support his assertion concerning AIDS, and asserts it's spread through sinfulness.

Rev. Wright is divisive in the sense that he has given into grudgeholding, speaking in anger and resentment without offering any real solutions to the problems. From watching Wright's speech yesterday, I can't understand why his comments are considered offensive and why Obama must distance himself from them. The Pastor's new appearances have been purposely outrageous. He went out of his way to be the biggest racist clown the world has every known. He aslo threatened and insulted Barack, whose not just a church member but a personal friend.

I'm really disappointed in the media. I'm an aspiring journalist and I'm disgusted at how they've been handling this. What happened to journalistic integrity? I know Fox News has none but for the rest there's no excuse. Rev. Wright is a nut job and anyone with half a brain can see that Barack had nothing to do with his comments. Journalism is supposed to be about reporting the FACTS and letting the people form their own opinion, not choosing a side and slandering those not on it. I am saddened.

To be honest, I don't think Barrack actually cares about the whole race thing, it's just his ticket to the white house. Rev. Wright has always acted like a bigot and Barrack is still half defending him in this.

I voted for Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania Primary last week. I could never vote for Hillary Clinton or John McCain. I doubt very seriously that I will vote for Barack Obama if he wins the Democratic nomination. When you are afraid to stand up for truth, you don't deserve support. OBAMA is a true voice of courage and hope. He said with firmness and conviction what needed to be said. I am uplifted by the way he talks about getting back to the real issues that truly matter. In a way i feel the media hype has allowed Barack to demonstrate his commitment to real issues, it allows him to separate what is important from what is not. I hope the public will listen to him. Does racism exist in America? Yes. However, it is better than it was a generation ago, and the only way it will improve is by the efforts of people like Senator Obama and NOT by the tactics of people like Rev. Wright. People are willing to move on and leave slavery and racism behind if we can be led by someone who has a correct and healthy vision of the future. Obama may have the vision, Rev. Wright does not. Rev. Hi jonperry. Science does not support Rev. Wright's assertion concerning AIDS. According to a PBS special I saw, AIDS came to the USA by "patient zero" who was a flight attendant from South Africa, which surfaced in the homosexual community first. This male flight attendant was accused of being a sort of "Typhoid Mary". I want to say as well that Rev. Wright's tone is not biblically sound. The Bible also does not support his assertion concerning AIDS, and asserts it's spread through sinfulness.

Rev. Wright is divisive in the sense that he has given into grudgeholding, speaking in anger and resentment without offering any real solutions to the problems. No matter how justified he is in being angry because of this country's corrupt history, and he does speak many truths, no one can move this country forward if we focus on the past. A former editorial board member at USA Today, she runs something called Reynolds News Services and teaches ministry at the Howard University School of Divinity. (She is an ordained minister).
It also turns out that Reynolds - introduced Monday as a member of the National Press Club "who organized" the event - is an enthusiastic Hillary Clinton supporter.

Someone please tell me why he didn't do this long ago? You got to know what it has been about for the last many years and just accepted it with the others as if it was OK. His judgement has to be questioned. Now its not OK with him because Wright let it all out of the box. Would Obama do this if he would have been able to contain Wright? No, he would have let it ride. Come on, you can't play all sides of the game. At least now he makes a rational courageous stand against the very wrong Wright.

i don't think obama completely agrees with what he's saying. he doesn't seem genuine or committed to his statements. when typically he makes an assertion he believes true, his faith in the truth provides him confidence, and his confidence is what gives him his eloquence. he seems very uncomfortable, perhaps torn now between his religious beliefs which must become private in order to maintain his candidacy. part of him i think wants to defend his pastor. he did not convince me here.

Y'know, this may be just the thing he needs to finally demonstrate his Presidential "Experience" that some these naysayers like to continually bring up. I feel really badly for Barack. I have belonged to the same church for over 30 years and I would hate to think that the world would judge me by my pastors opinions. It's actually kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
I'd like to know how much money Rev. Wright took from either Hillary or John to do what he did? I bet it comes out someday that that is exactly what happened.

I'm really disappointed in the media. I'm an aspiring journalist and I'm disgusted at how they've been handling this. What happened to journalistic integrity? I know Fox News has none but for the rest there's no excuse. Rev. Wright is a nut job and anyone with half a brain can see that Barack had nothing to do with his comments. Journalism is supposed to be about reporting the FACTS and letting the people form their own opinion, not choosing a side and slandering those not on it. I am saddened.

To be honest, I don't think Barrack actually cares about the whole race thing, it's just his ticket to the white house. Rev. Wright has always acted like a bigot and Barrack is still half defending him in this.
If it was my religious official or good friend, and I was in Barrack's place, I would speak with a little more umph and aggression. He just doesn't seem like he gives a crap, he just doesn't want to look like an a-hole and win the votes he'll probably lose.
