Thanks man. Again, I would never admit to how many takes it took to get that, but I am getting better (I haven't been playing clawhammer for a full year quite yet).
The skin around the neck is 100% decorative. It was a lot more effort to do it that way and I might not ever do it again. But it did turn out nice.

Very nice work on the banjo as well- interesting that the skin head surrounds the neck, can you elaborate on that?
