Very nice video! Curious why you had your flaps extended for so long after take off? Why were you not correcting for the 12K wind after landing while taxing? Very important in the CT. 12K can lift a wing very easily...
Ah cool! My instructor is all over me about this. I am flying solo now and never felt a wing lift unless I tried to get it to. Good to know 12k isn't a problem. He is probably just trying to install good habits. Wow, 1800ft is a looooong roll for the ct. Nice Vids, keep em coming. I'm going to post some of my ct flying as well.
kept flaps on as didn't want to lose the extra lift they gave on takeoff... CT usually jumps off in 400ft, but because of DA it took 1,800 ft to lift off and another 2500 to get above the trees. I usually wait until about 400 ft to go to 0, depending.
As long as you were up in Flagstaff with your new wing camera, you should have taken a spin past the debris field at the B-24 crash site. You know, as a cautionary tale for fellow flyers. P.S. The music rocks - I had to sit back down in my chair so I could write this.
I love your plane. I want to go flying with you :-).
Is anyone at Deer Valley teaching light sport and if so what if you know are the planes that they have to train in? I want to get my Light Sport license in the beginning of next year.
Nice! You might enjoy my similar videos in the Sting Sport KLSA at my channel.

Nice view, shame about the "lift music" - needs to be a little more up beat! - check mine out - type in "CTSW - IOW"
I am about to fit a new external cam - watch this space.

Looks like the wing cam works extremely well. Nice video (well, except for the music).
