It's great seeing videos like this on Youtube. So many people show off their chinchillas that live in plastic cages, eat candy, raisins and fruit, and whose owners cannot even handle them properly.

I can be wrong, but don't you think this type of cage is bad for their feet? A critter cage or something like that would they be better?

@MrFaithfulx I know owners who have raised generations of chinchillas in these types of cages, and they said they have never had any problems. It's easy to keep the chinchillas and environment clean, but I'm sure it's not ideal for their feet so I usually have wooden house and floor board that covers half the cage.

@ChinTubeHD It's illegal in sweden to have cages without a solid floor. It makes them slower and can make them get their leg get stuck and injure it.

@someawe I will soon! They haven't been together because I don't want Taro to mate with Mochi, the Mom, too soon after giving birth. She needs her rest and energy to take care of the babies.
