  • I have to say Flagstad didn't need the final note..her voice was a miracle even without it....I find her La Scala Ring thrilling even without the C's.

  • In the Peters score you can sing the C an octave lower.

  • the tessitura of the siegfried brünnhilde is very high. as her career went on this part of her register would plague her even more.but who cares, honestly, when the rest of her voice is so glorious and even.
