@metallica6669999 regardless of whether you have only 2 or 1, maybe not even a single expansion the revamp will affect every player, not just those with cata.

WoW fucking rules, they need to pump up the numbers a bit, Cataclysm needs to make a big impact!!

Maybe they should make World of Warcraft Free to play, (up to level 60 ofc!!!)

and only charge for BC and WotLK

whilst making it ALOT easier to level, increase xp by 100% or something

Cause if you was to play to lv 60, you'd get a feel of the game and must play high end

people want to play wow, i know it..

World of Warcraft is dying... servers are emptying.. and not to go to other servers, open your damn eyes..

If blizzard don't act fast they are going to lose more players than they can afford leaving wasted servers.. half empty servers will make the remaining people want to leave.. and they don't have the choice to switch server to a populated realm

Not to mention they aint going to get new players very fast when you have to buy 3 expansions + monthly subscription!!!?

a spec and rotation (for PvE) is what makes the most of your character

a random guild i joined was raiding for age (this is quite a while ago when DPS wasn't as high as it is now XD)

and everyone was doing under 3k dps

i dinged my rouge.. still in greens and blues some going as low as lv 66

all i done was follow my friends poison rogue spec.. and learn a rotation

and i was topping the whole guild on my first run!???

I agree with you, skill>gear, BUT i don't want noobs to wear the same gear as me, that's why i don't play, and that's why many people stopped playing wow.

I also don't like that everyone can go to the same instances, i don't care one is heroic and the other normal mode, it's the same, the only thing that changes is the difficulty. Just good players should be able to see the end of the game in my opinion, noob players can always see the bosses later, in the next expansion.

yeah true that, i loved BC for that fact..

Raiding was challenging and required disciplined raid members

and not everyone got to see sunwell & black temple

heck, most people didn't even get to see maggy and SSC.

though, PVP wise, WotLK is better than it's ever been, period!

there's so many moves and combinations now, at first it was just a game of, who can blow there cooldowns fastest wins..

but now they balanced resilience/power, it's so balanced.. brilliant! :D

What i'm trying to say is, gear doesn't make up a player.. i see mages shamans and rogues strip down to near nothing, and pwn the people in full furious/relentless/wrathful

Undark, a rogue on my server quit then come back.. was using 2 level 60 daggers stripped naked, and he killed our current top rouge on our server in all his gear..

and this isn't luck he can do it again and again

the game required skill, vanilla didn't have enough button combination balance

Look, there is a redecoration of both kalimdor and eastern kingdoms. Preparations and testings. Redecoration of dungeons since there are new classic heroic dungeons. New dungeons and raids. New races. New graphics method to use like tinting and other stuff. More detail in certain areas, New and improved water, Basically, it takes a long time to do all of this. They released it for october. You can't just give the expansion at febuary and make it look like a crappy expansion. Give it time.

Not saying that isn't true, but they are timing the ICC expansion all wrong if they really do release Cataclysm in October. We'll see Arthas in a couple months... then we spend 8-9 months with no new raids or dungeons? That would be a mistake on Blizz's part, business-wise, whether it feels fair or not.
