I think it is so cool how some of us were here to watch your journey through pregnancy With Lilia. And then we got to watch you raise her, fall in love with drake, and start a life with him. I am so happy you are allowing us to tag along on the journey of your twins too! :) I don't care what people say, you are an inspiration to me and I don't even have children. @Mommysteph2585 If it's a boy result, there's supposedly at least one boy. If it's a girl result, there are supposedly two girls.

It's just for fun anyway and at least IntelliGender sent her another test after the first one went iffy. She finds out the day after she gets married what the babies are going to be anyway.

@MrLukeandcarly They claim 90% accuracy on their website according to 'studies' but they won't show the actual studies or even say who did them so chances are they are not peer reviewed or scientifically sound. They also refuse to tell anyone the 'science' behind their product which doesn't make sense because if they really did have some kind of scientific accuracy to their method they could make a lot of money by selling it as I'm sure medical professionals would use it if that were the case...

Why tell everybody when somebody else can probably copy it and rip off the company before they have their patent. They can't just say that they have done 3 studies without having the evidence. Somebody in the US would probably sue them!

@xeverydaynormalgirlx I have just done some searching, and I didn't even have to look very hard for who did the tests and when and where. So you saying that they won't quote their studies is incorrect. I have the links for both of the independent studies, and can easily read the results.

@TheKiwiMummy Well I would love to see these studies myself because all it says on their website is that studies were done by some companies in Mexico and Australia. The name of the organisation who did the study is not listed nor is there any published paper associated with these studies. At least, if there is, I couldn't find them in any reputable scientific publication. Nothing can be considered fact without backed up and peer-reviewed research and I can find nothing of the sort here.

In regards to the patent pending and not wanting someone to steal their idea, that's not the way it works. If there is in fact any scientific basis for the intelligender test, as I said before they would make a lot more money if they could prove their claim on a scientific level and sell it for use in medical fields than they will by marketing it in the form of some gimmick product. Not to mention the recognition. So it still doesn't make any sense to me why they won't tell anyone how it works.

@MrLukeandcarly Yes they are. There has been 3 studies, and 2 by independent companies. One before it could be released here in Australia. The reason its not 90% accurate for your friends is because they are probably doing it wrong. In a lab environment it is over 89.55% accurate!

It just includes some facts about the 'study' and some so called statistics ( who even knows if they are legit or not?). The second one is based on 150 women, thats it. Im sorry but a company cant make a statement like "this test is 90% accurate" on a study based on 150 people, thats insane.

@TheKiwiMummy These tests work on the idea that having a high PH will help you conceive a boy and a low Ph will help you conceive a girl. This theory is however only based on the time around conception. The Ph conditions in the vagina during pregnancy can change a lot, so it's not really a valid way to test if you're having a boy or a girl.

The product was strictly tested when they wanted to distribute in Australia and New Zealand. They wouldn't have been approved for sales by the TGA if it was a complete scam. The if that is so, why are they offering discounted ultrasounds to confirm gender and a 100% refund if by some chance its wrong? And also - Intelligender has done their own studies on the product, so yes there is more than a 150 person case study. Like I said, they can't just say that its 90% accurate when its not.
