Darksiders PC "Mask of Shadows" bug

i managed to restore a bugged save with the chaos form.

you need to transform to chaosform(save before, you may have to try several times).

while transformed change the equipment in the slots (swap mask with stuff, un/equip the mask) until the mask is not showed in the top right menu anymore.

transform back to normal War.

if the mask is not displayed on his face you were succesful

save (new saveslot preferably) and load that save.

try the mask again.

anyone know what exactly causes the bug?

u just need to do the mission where it gives u the mask again

and then will work

@Bottle707 liar, that mission is in Eden, and u can't get bakc there without the mask

what do you mean, like just go back, or restart from a previous save point?

Unfortunately no. I think we need proper patch beacuse Darksiders is very buggy game

@stamina777 Yeah, it glitched on me a few times, mainly in the tower, but nothing that restarting the game didn't fix. But this issue with the mask is very upsetting. I want to finish the game badly. Hoping that it won't glitch again if I play through it on another difficulty settings. :/
