@DENlERU This must be a joke. No one can be that ignorant and stupid. All vikings came from Denmark since both sweden, norway, iceland, northen Germany and parts of Britan was under the dansih crown - due to the vikings. And i can asure you no one came to plunder in Denmark... jeez

@z8kenni Not 100% accurate. They were separate countries. Actually it was the Norwegian king Harald Hardraade who lost the battle at Stamford Bridge against the saxons in 1066 which was the definitive end of the viking era in Britain. But true that Denmark had a large area of Britain for a long period. The area known as Danelagen.

The vikings came from all Scandinavia icluding Denmark which is a part of Scandinavia in case you don't know. Actually a conquored area in England was named after the origin of the invaders: the Danes. The area was called "Danelagen" or "Danelaw" and was a large area of Britain where the Danes ruled. Regards a Dane who knows history:)
