The idea of precession may be false. How can the solar system be circling the sun roughtly along its path through space...the ecliptic. Does a planet speed up when its orbit is in front of the sun? A more sensible idea is that the solar system orbits the sun's path at a right angle. Thus, there is no precession and dating of age cannot be determined in this way.
