@richardfps123 To try to cut FW bias, the Dragonskin was only tested at perpendicular angles. If you took a 7.62 AK on Dragonskin at a slanted angle (e.g. at 45 degrees) I would think the rounds would tear the scales out of place.

@phailbax, but it's expensive and it weighs more than the M14 EBR. The DMR's are surplus M14 rifles. As a result, they're a lot more low cost and there are more available. The M110 SASS is also a rifle designated for say a "sniper who stays in one place" and the EBR is a mobile platform.

suppersors do reduce range but the benifit of not being heard and therefore not being shot at is worth the trade off of the range.

If anything, compared using the same loads, they extend the barrel and gives the powder more time to burn, therefore, giving it higher velocity which translates into greater range. The baffles in the can can also dampen the kick of the bolt being pushed back into the buffer tube.

M-110 has a suppressor so it can fire closer to the target. Also its semi-auto so you can hit multiple people without a chance for a getaway

Let's see it's downsides vs a bolt action heavier design, decreased accuracy, and you don't have the ability to manually decide when to eject the spent cartridge and it's not so good of a anti materiel rifle it's rounds are weak compared to .50 BMG rounds or magnum rounds like .338 lapua I'm not saying it's bad I'm just saying it can't completely replace bolt action sniper rifles

the point of snipers is a long distance far from the enemy one hit kill what alot of people are missing is their is all sorts of armor and bulletproofed vehicles so what youd need is more fire power rate of fire and accuracy so you wont even need a headshot and can take down vehicles from far away in my opinion this rifle is nothing compared to a barret 82a1 but future weapons also documented on the barret m107 which still owns this m-110

@rotorleopard M110 is not sub MOA, i can attest by experience. I work at the US Army Sniper School and we have had nothing but problems with these rifles. They are mass produced, over priced, and unreliable. The Army pays over 10,000 bucks for each SASS and it is insane. Companies offer AR-10's for a fraction of the price (DPMS) that shoot way better. Knights built a great gun for the testing and then when the army took the contract the quality went out the window. M110 holds 1 MOA atbest
