  • poor servos...

  • 1:06 Hater

  • You are so good and I wish I am as you are..

  • 乗組員の安否が心配だ

  • why at 10sec in does he shake the cyclic stick so fast? I dont see how its translating to the helis movements

  • Looks like a walk in the park.

However it's probably a lot more like a marathon jog, barefoot in hot sand with little glass shards in it.

  • Nicee

  • I can do everything that this guy does, just give me 100 helicopters

  • Someone call the exorcist.

  • yeah.. well i can hover nose in :P

  • Did anybody notice him hit the aileron trim button at about 1 minute 29 a couple times once while it was spinning. Assuming he flies mode 2. Incredible flight as always.

  • actually i was just listening TiKToK from Kei$ha - fits perfekt to this show :)

  • Looks easy, tried it with my Blade 400, now my heli is in a million parts in a box on my bed. His stick movements are insane to say the least. Wish I could be that insane and keep my heli in one piece. Hats off to the pilot, you have my respect!

  • Hola Alan soy de mexico df vuelas Increible saludos chonchotorres

  • Hey Alan Szabo can you still hover with the heli ?? or just tricks nolimit ^^

  • In mode 1, when the throttle stick is on the lowest position the engine switch off, and for sure the pitch is not enough to flight in 3d, is almost difficult to get the loop right in mode 1, so for me is flying with a minimum pitch of +13 and -13, and also watching the stick movements is difficult to get he's level, not for nothing for me is one of the best rc heli pilot in the world.

  • hey, (newbie pilot here) is all that jerking necessary? Or is it just his "style"?

  • 0:00 to 0:20... what was that AMA thing about not flying under the influence of drugs...

    nice flying (I think)

  • WTF (o)_(O)

  • the pilot is chuck norris

  • Any passengers aboard?

  • i like Alan

  • You need to be so smooth when flying rc helis this on the other hand is so harsh I know he is smooth but so rough with them sticks it amazing. Also his heli is no basic kit ,after flying a bit of 3D with my raptor 50 the blade hanger snapped a ball off and hey presto it hit the deck!!

  • Thats some serious jedy skills.

  • That transmitter won't last long, whacking those sticks like that!

  • I fly scale everyday, when I fly my property, 3d is much harder to do, and very gratifying to do.( More so then watching it)

Agreed - A little is enough....but I still enjoy being the pilot of 3d...or trying

  • That is one of the most Kick-Ass videos I have EVER seen.

Rock on Alan. I`m catching up to You....NOT That`s BadAss.

    Thanx for the show, Scott

  • I've been in the hobby over 40 years, I have to admit Alan has an amazing amount of skill, Unfortunately this type of hard 3D flying is unpleasant if not annoying to watch. It's extremely abrupt and vulgar in nature, It lacks any semblance of grace. Its like watching Data on Star Trek recite poetry. While the moves are flawless it lacks any heart. One of the attributes of a heli that make it special is it's graceful motions in flight and grace is something this extreme type of flying is lacking

  • @Blaze1024

Sounds like someone's trying their best to hide jealousy with a nose in the air.

  • @Blaze1024 I will concede that the "instrument" that is being used, annoys the vision centers of your brain. Heck, you said it. I have been in the hobby 25 (since the last big gold stickers from AMA). It doesn't annoy me. Will you concede that the music put out with the instrument called guitar progressed to a place that some may find annoying to the audio receptors of the brain? Does it come with age? On the subject, what more can be done with a remote heli.?

  • But really, I wonder how many transmitters he has worn through, Stick movements like that are sure to put major stress on the Radio.

  • I tryed this once and ı just remember that some thing comeing to me ! And White screen :)

  • This was 3 years ago...

  • Incredible motor skills, but most of this is really not very pleasant visually and looks like some sick bird twitching before death.

Why not fly some visually pleasing, graceful aerobatic figures like real helicopters pilot do?

  • @mdeeRocks bc scale flying blows

  • I learned how to hover a month ago and I was proud.......until I watched this. HOLY SHAT. He is the King. Nice vid.

  • U N R E AL ! ! !

  • fif masta its mode 2 collective on the left cyclic on the right

  • are you flying mode one or two? watching your stick movements does not tell me that!!!

  • @fifmasta he is flying mode two

  • He would, but his beard hasn't come in yet.

  • muito bom.......

  • UN F , ING BELIEVABLE

  • One of my favorites - Alan can lay it down

  • In the bottom right hand corner you will see a fine example of eating too much sugar and then flying a very expensive helicopter. :)

  • Imreal

  • what a guy, i always crash mine trying to do 3D, always leaves a big dent in my wallet

  • Alan rocks with helos! I learned a lot watching his stick moves. Thanks for sharing.

  • his fingers look like their having seisures

  • i can help to destroy it if you want sir..=)

  • looks boring compared to tareq

  • rc-ghost at 3:50

  • @skorpen2 at 1:06 too ^^

  • @ViolentVendetta

put it on pause, just an other heli next to it..

  • he is using mode 2 !

  • crazy flying! I tried doing the exact same stick movements on the sim and didn't quite turn out the same :)

  • that tends to happen to me too, I think my sim doesnt work :D

  • that or he's using mode 1 :)

  • Bar none the sickest flying I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing. I hate this guy - LOL! j/k :)

  • Comment removed

  • amen to you, but in all respects.

    don't feed the trolls.

On topic, nice way of showing how he flys, its absolutely ridiculous!!!

  • what is your country?

  • @VoiceOfReason61 Your on the internet.

  • You're just a newb that couldn't fly if your life depended on it. Get a life you useless twat!

  • @VoiceOfReason61 haha touch the blades while there spinning and then tell me its a toy :)

  • what heli is he flying?

  • @TheHeliFlyer Probably the T-REX 600N from Align. He is their main test pilot!

  • Awesome stuff

  • this is not normal

  • @nguyentuan1990 ya it is when he movs it really fast it givs the heli a shaking look

  • nice alan szabo n1 :D

  • How many crashes does it take to get that good? Lol.. Freaking awesome!

Seconds 10 thru 16, whats with the 'epilepsy' moves on the cyclic?

Is that a quick way of averaging movements on the fly?

  • @coyote20030 thats sorta his signature move "crack stick" its hard to see in the video but makes the helicopter shake and stutter during the maneuver.

  • No, those are called crack rolls. The point is to make the "cracking" sound, and make the heli look like it's going into epileptic shock :P

  • My heart skipped a beat at 1:37 haha. Id be waayyyyy to afraid to try 3d with my helis. For now at least ; )

  • You can't describe something this insane..you have to see it to believe it. WTF...

  • That stick moments real? Looks sped up?

  • Hate to break a stick off in the middle of that! YIKES!

  • holy crap-insanely good flying

  • that is absolutely in-fucking-sane, i wonder if i could get him to come to my next RC Jamboree

  • Thats just fucking nuts.

  • so if i do those exact stick movements my heli will do that? lol

  • Nope.

  • i can do these 3d moves easily, the only different is after 10 secs, my heli would be on the ground look like a piece of metal and his heli is still on the air flying, honestly this is too sick

  • @nguyentuan1990 NICE. i have the same problem!

  • keep practice going and soon youll think 'hey its been 6 minutes and i'm still flying

    Then it gets tough!

  • it shudent be allowed ! thats against the natural laws !sick....

  • What´s the use of these crack stick movements?

  • speechlllleeeesssss......

  • I wonder if Floyd Mayweather can do this too?

  • WTF

  • hhhhmmmmmm I have a LOT of work to do!! lol

  • Something tells me this dude has done something like this before.... 0_o

  • Dam, this is just crazy.

  • alan szabo and justen jee in a 3d flight comp, i would whach that.

  • Yeah but can you fly it straight and level!!! LOL

  • is weird :D

  • holy crap!!!

  • BRAVO !!!

  • you are crazy ;)

  • that;s crazy

  • alan had to many red bulls lol

  • dam he's good

  • Although that is amazing, I think if your that good, it isn't that fun, just my opinion, good skills though.

  • yeah, I know what you mean. Its like once you reach that level, where do you go from there. Thats when things get kinda boring or routine. Although he seems to be living a great life from flying these things. He get to travel the world for free, he gets a crap load of money from doing this, and he gets free equipment and stuff. its kinda cool!

  • stick movements? no, SICK movements!

  • thats fucked up.

  • fuck me i,m dizzy can someone slow this thing down

  • I would love to let this guy mow my grass

  • Tell me that's not another heli right next to Alan's @ 1:06!?

  • yes there is another one. But without your comment i would not see it. Thanks :D

  • DID YOU KNOW?

That alan szabo uses his helicopter for an early morning shave.

  • Gives a whole new meaning to "close shave". Just imagine a 600-size nitro helicopter buzzing around your chin... whew!

  • If im not mistaken that is like a 700-size nitro heli lol maybe 600 not sure

  • It is Avant Aurora (90 size)

  • Wow...that guy is on crack!

  • Insane!

First time I saw a video of his my jaw dropped.

Inspired me to learn to fly.

  • I can't do what he does but i'm workin on it:)

  • on 2:15 it's easy to do, just let the heli crash in the ground with the throttle hold switch up and it will behave pretty much like that...lol. This guy can mow anyone's grass...:D

  • Quite godly! Though this man should never pilot a real helicopter, as the people on board would turn into a ground beef-like substance.

  • alan szabo does crash , if any heli pilot says he doesnt crash is a lyer, everyone crashes, you lot are just kiss arse's

  • I'm sure Alan Szabo can shave with his helicopter ;).

  • Some how though i don't think i will let him try to shave my beard. he is good but imaginge a 720 SAB hitting your chin.

  • OH MY GOD! I must see it in real! :)

  • wath mode he fly?

  • 2..

  • dang...his eyes are so ninja he knows every little movement that goes on.... THIS IS CRAZY!

  • ooooohhh...how many crashes before this fly...?

    congratulations ...¡¡¡

  • you kidding me? Alan Szabo doesn't crash... don't you know he's only 1 inch tall and is actually inside that helicopter flying it? the dude with the joystick is just his life size stand-in

alan szabo is too cool to ever be seen by the human eye

  • hahaha. That to me is the only way i reckon he would be able to get those fast backwards inverted circuits straight into a chaos. No normal Human Being can do that. It's just impossible, no wonder he's arguably the worlds best.

  • Alan Szabo does not crash. The earth moves towards his helicopter to be graced by its awesomeness.

  • :0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0

  • This guy IS GOD!

  • alan is left handed?

  • no he has 2 hands

  • LOOK! hes just twiddling the sticks around randomly!

ahah. sarcasm to the max. been to 3D masters in northampton and saw Mr Szabo's routine, a truly eye-watering amount of skill. Long live three dimensions!

  • Mode 2 forever

  • i think i found new hair dresser

  • Yes mate got it, building it today, picked it up two days ago.

  • we'd love to see a video of it when you finish! :)

  • I know how this is done! You just stir the right stick in a clockwise motion and the left stick in some random fashion and don't fly anywhere near gravity! Simple!!

  • Piece of cake! I could do this too if I sold my soul to the devil in exchange for a magic anti-gravity helicopter.

  • Looooooooooool

  • lol, a heli that cannot hit the ground no matter what...

  • i don't see how anyone could do this.

  • yea i can doo this on my dragonfly 36

  • This is very hard for me...

  • Fuck the best by far.... Cannot wait to get my trex 600.

  • have you got it yet!?

  • pra que fica numa luta dessa com o radio?

  • I dont know... he obviously passed hover day..

  • that's all good...but can he hover ???

  • what ya think:S dumb ass prick... he's one of the greatest heli flyers in the world!!

  • Thats like asking a gymnast if they can crawl......

  • someone lick my puss H

  • C R A C K S T I C K

  • Just damm crazy good!!!!!!!!!! It blows my mind after flying for 10+ years that someone could become this good....Hats off Alan for damm real!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, you are a king! Sick skills! Thank you very much for combining the video with stick movements, what a help! Big up to the guy who kept that chopper in view while doing such crazy shit!

  • Incredible....

  • i think he's doing that super fast jerking to create the rapid 'wopopop' sound of the blades throwing the air back and forth. he just knows how to do it in a controlled manner so that it still manages to create smooth movements. talk about really pushing the limits...not only do you get cool visual effects but interesting sound as well.

  • exactly what crack is

  • not really... the "wopopop"s are from the blades vibrating under extreme force. Hes switching the collective while the machine is going the opposite way, so the blades are stressed and will try to rip them selves apart because of the extreme momentary load that is placed on them. One DOESN'T want that noise but in this case carbon fiber blades can barley handle the maneuvers he is doing.

    I fly models like this.

  • that's not really what either of us were referring to.

  • if you are referring to the stick movements, thats even more interesting. The servos are strongest when they move, and a servo holding a very specific spot can slop easier than a servo moving. Szabo keeps the servos constantly moving to get the most rock solid hub movement as possible even if his movements reflected on the helicopter are smooth.

  • Why can't you put the video insert in the black area instead of covering the video?

  • Because the black areas are created by the Flash player, and are not part of the original video.

  • defy gravity..

  • this is fuking imposibleeee. omgg!

  • wow!

  • the controler cam. looks complikated

  • Living proof aliens live amongst us. This guy is not human! Great video! Something for all of us inferior pilots to look forward to.
