00wabbit, how are you activating that reed relay? if you look at my most recent video, im making a similiar device but im having trouble when trying to activate the relay. i have the same relay as you also, assuming that one is 5v
I just used a "high" command on the relay pin and then a "low" command to turn it off.
I can e-mail you my program if you want. I am no expert at this. This was my first complicated basic stamp program. It was a lot of cut and paste from other files I found on the net.

Go to your nearest Radioshack and go to the electronics section. Look for a "Basic Stamp" learning kit of some sort. Learn. That should get you started, oh, and of course research electronic circuits in general.
