I just finished watching Masterworks which featured Oliver Shroer. I'd never heard of him before but now I'm hooked.

Thank you for posting this. I really love Oliver's introspective music. The style he developed was - is - unique. I hope it is passed on among fiddlers and flourishes. I wish I could have seen him in concert. You have something to treasure. I'll wear orange and remember....

Oliver left this planet this morning, July 3rd, 2008. It is a sad day, but his legacy will live on. To all those musicians out there - learn Oliver's tunes and teach them to others. Wear an orange ribbon for Oli.
