That's the Rocky Point Road tornado that swept across Lake Conway and up through Saltillo and passed our home by while heading up Rocky Point Road to Vilonia. Lots of damage. Because they were late on the alarms, we had MINUTES to take cover. The area isn't unpopulated... but covered with small farms.
i live in Conway, and I've been blessed that the worst my family's every been hit by a tornado, is a few shingles knocked off the roof, and a few things in the yard to pick up. I see some of the damage driving through northern AR on our way to branson, missouri when we go, and i see people that were hit so much worse than us. Conway is usually lucky and somehow goes between all the storms.... we just caught a cold front but we were surrounded by severe weather in every county around us.. wow.
@CodxGod100 It's called a Southern accent, NOT a 'country' accent! Arkansas is a Southern state, so it's not too surprising to find that some of its inhabitants speak with a Southern accent.
@CodxGod100 If you're so familiar with the location in which you live (your beloved "arkansas dumb fuck"), why are you surprised to hear a Southern accent from the region? I might not be from "arkansas dumb fuck", which I assume is in Arkansas, but at least I can spell 'theirs' correctly. To be honest, you might think you live in Arkansas but actually live in another state. Maybe you're in Kansas, eh? I mean, they're spelled almost the same; there's just one letter difference between them.
I actually dont live in the area. I was well out of harms way when this happened, but when we hear the sirens it usually takes us less than a minute to grab the pillows from our beds and head to the hallway.
It was not a tornado I live on lake Conway it was a water spout it was just like a tornado and that's what I thought until a little later the weather channel called it a water spout but I could understand why they thought it was one
hahah wow i live like right by where this happened like 10 min away lol and when my friends told me there was a tornado in conway i was like noooo theres not lol but i guess i was wrong
HOLY CRAP! I go to Cabot, and a couple of my friends and me were completing the driving part of driver's ed and we were driving to Conway when this storm hit, we saw it from where we were and we turned around to try and out run it to Cabot, but we didn't get back to the High School before it hit Cabot . . . althought I have to say it was a fun trip haha
As a veteran public safety employee...aka 911, I must say this is remarkable footage. Usually the 911 operator is receiving so many calls overwhelming tragic when events of this nature occure. We do not have the authority to set off the sirens when we deem it necessary. We rely on NAWAS and the public. Hopefully no one was badly hurt. Thanks for posting.
I live on that street. That's not the Axiom building, that's Kimberly Clark..

I am a native of Conway, Arkansas. I am in the military and I live in Copperas Cove, Texas which is a shadow of Conway.
