  • You're so attractive! And multitalented.

I sure would like to see neutral pronouns be more common.

  • love your camera rig totally awesome

  • That rig is awesome!

  • Great job on the rig! Did you say it supports both of your lenses w/the LED ring attached? BTW: Converting 12VDC down to 9Volts: if the battery pack is a stack of cells, and you can directly tap off the nearest cell voltage to 9V (should be 8.2 to 9.6, depending on the type of battery chemistry), should be more efficient & give you longer battery life, since any converter you use will only be between 50 to 75% efficient (yeah, I'm an engineering background, older MTF)...Cheers!

  • @Kelly4evr Eventually I want to have a proper 14.4v v-mount battery and mount which usually output 12v, 7.2v and 5v. Using the step down to 9v just ensures compatibility. I know it's inefficient. Thanks for the comment though!

  • @Kelly4evr I built the ring light to fit on the hood of my 50mm 1.8D which I sold, but the focal length was too long for the brightness of the ring anyways. The fact that it fits on the kit lens is great, and being able to shoot wider is good I can be closer to the subject. Looks pretty good at 18mm right up to the subjects face, perfect for music videos. :) I just need to figure out how to get a transparent band going from the barrel to the follow focus so I can pull manually.

  • You should do more vlogs on photo/camera stuffs. It just occurred to me as I typed that that there aren't really any trans people I can think of that do youtube stuff that isn't predominately trans related.

  • @IntrepidStranger Lots of people just have separate channels. A lot of the video work I do I actually can't upload to YouTube and stuff, but maybe I'll put together something in the future.

  • I'm so glad you're making videos again!

  • @JesseLH88 Thanks for commenting again!

  • I saw the camera rig you made from the bike handle bars i liked the quirky reuse of a existing object, ready made aspect, this new rig is somthing out of this world,i dont really know much about rigs but i am impressed ,i hope you do a video of it in use, the cd cover is so subtle and proffessional looking.im in awe you clever THING, cheers Dee

  • @FRANKHIP Thanks! The bike handlebar thing was great for what it was but I really needed to invest in a proper system that was lighter weight and more flexible. Since it's made out of carbon fiber and aluminum the actual support system is extremely light, which is good since I have so many components other than the camera now.

  • Natural progesterone is more safe long term than synthetic.

Your endo should know this name brand Prometrium

You can also go to a compounding pharmacy

natural progesterone suspended in peanut oil

  • @ocean3rdcoast Yes I'm on Prometrium!

  • Hi,

That bracelet is awesome. I would totally get one of those and rock it like all the time.

I like what you were saying about gender nonconformity and those different areas of passing. I prefer being myself and challenging people's perceptions. People will either see me as human, or I will have the evolutionary advantage of seeing the perceptually limiting glasses they are putting over their view of reality. You know?

Anyways, good video. High five for genderqueerness! :)

  • @Gamercat01 High five for people being themselves! :)

  • cool looking camera rig, reminded me of a rifle from that movie Starship Troopers.

  • @FromUnderTheRock Yeah it's kinda getting brutal looking :p Can't wait to start shooting with the EVF.

  • i though about going GQ for a while, i already think i am somewhat gender nonconforming, as i dont give a crap about my voice, yo the point that i get "sir"ed at work about 2 times a week

  • @pigpen7471 lol at "going GQ" <3

  • @pigpen7471 btw How've you been? Miss chatting.

  • @blickblocks good, ill be moving to LA in a month or too :)

  • @pigpen7471 orly? No more SF?

  • Holy hell, Madz, that looks pretty awesome! I can't wait to see more stuff that you've been shooting with it :D My next EP is being finished up still, but I just got in a whole load of stuff for my music studio, so I'm going to be re-recording some of it with that. Maybe I'll do a music video of my studio at some point? Who knows?

Hope you're well, it's nice to hear from you xxxx

  • progestin is progesterone derivative of horse urine and progesterone is the human version

  • Jeez that's a hell of a setup :o Very talented. I finally got around to getting a dslr, and opted for a Sony SLT-a-35 because I didn't feel like making an investment into an excellent camera when I'm still learning. I'm saving right now for a rig for video projects. I don't think I could make my own xP

  • @ChesterJSellars Sony has an excellent system! The Alpha 77 is pretty cool. I would have gladly gone with Sony. Since I'm interested in doing more video I'll probably sell all my bodies and lenses and switch over to a brand that isn't Nikon. Any brand would be better than Nikon.

  • @blickblocks That was my big thing about getting a dslr was making sure it'd be good, or at least, tolerable, for video. The D5100 was the only Nikon I was considering, but I think my Sony will do fine for now.

  • wow thats a pretty sweet rig :) definatley a good step up from the bicycle one I last saw.

Bracelets look good, colours could be a little bolder seems like a lot of white :S

I've currently put a hold to my transistion as I'm still not quite sure where I stand in telling poeple... plus moneys a constant issue being self med LOL

  • @kraig800i You aren't out as trans because of obstacles to medical transition?

  • That led front works great with macro photography but I don´t think it´s the right thing for a video rig. Anyway great update. Cheers.

  • @PabloFerroDesign It works very well for video it's just not as bright as I would like. I would not ever want to use continuous lighting for photography though, I prefer studio strobes.
