When the planes slammed into the buildings, they would have plowed materials forward increasing the load on the surviving trusses where the debris stopped. Add to this the mass of the plane.

If a floor (or section) failed, the lower floor could not support the added weight and would fail catastrophically fail. (cont)

Microspheres are not unique to 9-11. The are evident in municipal incinerators.

The NIST fire tests were stopped at imminent collapse to save the test rig. Fires would have cause the failure.

@99Eternal LINKS2: When you check the links you will see that the concrete used at WTC was made with 'fly ash' and that fly ash contains microspheres. To quickly find the info at the 'ask the port authority' page, do 'CTRL f' and enter "fly.'

There's the additional problem of placement, and unless you're a CGI-er, how you could be certain that a plane slamming into the building wouldn't damage your ignition control. Image if it was discovered after the fire was put out!

@99Eternal The first link that I listed showed in 'Illustration 2' that iron microspheres are present in fly-ash. Fly ash is a common ingredient in lightweight concrete and was used in the WTC. Iron microspheres are also present when typical municipal waste is incinerated.

Obviously, these microspheres are NOT unique to thermite so other origins are possible. The entire premise of this theory is flawed.

However, since fly-ash is commonly used in lightweight concrete (such as the 2in floors), I find this the most likely source for said spheres. I have never seen a breakdown of the percentage of dust that was made up of the microspheres or what ratio of iron to other types were present.

As I said, these are Aluminoslicate ask microspheres, a different chemical composition altogether than IRON microspheres (granted they do contain 30% iron roughly based on the info in your link).

This information as well as the composition of the dust samples can be found in several reports. (links to follow)

@99Eternal LINKS1: I'll peruse those links when I have time. It's been years, but I'm sure that I read that there were other microspheres in addition to iron in the TWC dust. It just comes down to ratios and sampling methods. I have seen nothing on kinetics vs temperature for microsphere generation, but just mull that over. There was a lot of metal aside from structural steel in those buildings, and very little of it survived the collapse. See the f-4 video on my channel.

I am sure there probably were. but again, the point to keep in mind is the temperatures required to form these iron micropsheres far exceed the maximum temperatures of jet fuel A and A1 as well as office fires. There is over 2,000 degrees F temperature discrepancy here, and it is backed by several documents such as NASA's thermal images showing inexplicable temps days after.

As the links I gave you will show, the ratio of Iron is not the same in any of the microspheres in the WTC samples (Iron making up the vast majority of the composition of each sphere), whereas the Aluminosilicate ash spheres according to link contain only 30% iron.

@TheMKMonarch Those charges were close to the core columns, they were not RDX, those were thermite bombs, judging from the white concentrated smoke that occurs 2 seconds after the flash, the detonation obviously also creates a ripple effect and and if you look close enough you can see that the curtains are moving.

I can get you around 10 clips of HQ demolitions where these white flashes occur before demolition and no windows break/eject people.

No, the white smoke appears much earlier not because as result of these "flashes". The smoke density is not stable and varies time to time. You see sometimes less and sometimes a denser exhaust. It depends on wind blow and air circulation inside the building.

And why the hanging people didn't show any reactions to these "explosions"? You can hear also engine noise of the a helicopter and a blink of white and blue colored strips in these reflections. Clearly a NYPD chopper.
