It is Ko-pets-ky. I learned a long time ago to stop trying to understand why player's names are pronounced a particular way.

Remember Stanislav Neckar? His last name is pronounced Nets-Kash. Why it's spelled Neckar is beyond me. But the "ec" in both his and Kopecky's name is pronounced as "etts".

my facts are straight and i never said he felt bad because of the hit i did mean because of the result. And if you look at the replay his head is not down, Kopecky simply follows him through straight left. Its his fault he didn't do a 180 check but Kopecky still intentionaly aimed for the head with his shoulder knowing Carle didn't see him

Any hockey player knows that you keep your head up after making a pass. It was Carle's responsibility to do this. As a defensive player, there's NO WAY you pass up a hit like this. Even the Montreal coach said it was a clean hit.
