  • just completed parts 1 and 2....think it looks right.:)

  • This is a wonderful solid , beautiful blanket. I am am new again to the world of crochetteing and even then, didni't get into the technical stitches. I have 2 baby blanket in the works, bith of which are free style and basic. I would love t make one like this but not the squares. Is that possible. I want something solid, and warm and cozy. If so can you email me oprivately ? thanks!

  • @looney2nzs Do you mean one solid piece? You can go to the Tunisian crochet tutorial on my channel. It's also known as the afghan stitch. You do need a special hook for that.

  • this is so neat ty for sharing i am going to have to give it a try

  • Can u use like only alittle bit of yarn?

  • @thekittykayleigh Well, you can make it with scraps if that what you mean, but you need a lot of yarn to make a blanket.

  • por favor explica el video en español muchas gracias

  • @MegaEva456 I don't speak Spanish.

  • this is very good.

  • I have a question. Can I make my squares larger than the 7 across and taller than 5 high? Also can I make more than 2 squares in starting this.

  • @sewclueless Yes. But you will have to change the number in the starting chain to suit. & yes! In the description in part one there is a formula.

  • I have a question. Can I make my squares larger than the 7 across and taller than 5 high?

  • I need help. I keep restarting this part over and over, but every time I restart by the time I get to the second square, I don't have enough bumps. How many is in the starting chain?

  • @greeneyedmonster6 Part one tells you in the description. To have a beginning of 1 square, chain 10; 2 squares, you chain 21; for three you chain 32.

  • @greeneyedmonster6 Are you going into the back bar of the first chain? If you are going into the second chain from the hook, then you will be short by one chain.

  • @greeneyedmonster6 I had this problem too. It seems that I need two more chains. I did work in the bump in the the back, like Beth said.

  • @nicolehockeygirl If you go into the second chain instead of the first, then you will be short by a chain.

  • i am having trouble finding the bump on the back of the chain...can I do this stitch by using the front of the v in the chain?

  • @cs9295 You can, It will just look a little different.

  • im using the same kind of yarn.i mean im using the same colors as the dark and the light.i only have one thing of yarn.i just maid my two squares.wondering how i can still make this with one ball of yarn.

  • @sweetly747 I only used one 7-oz skein of green and on 7-oz skein of white. It is amazing how far the yarn went on this! If you are using Red Heart SS There is no dye lot, so you will be able to purchase more later.

  • Hi Beth, Just a tad confused. You do not cut your yarn in this project at all, you just make the chain and tighten it up or place a stitch marker when changing colors then when it's time you pick it back up to go back to the first color?

  • @npreston1967 Yes! Most folks just cut the yarn. You can do that if you want to. I'm lazy and hate drawing in tails!

  • Alright! I actually have two squares that look like yours. I'm a newbie so I am still in awe that I can really do this LOL :)
