I know it wasn't a living being but the Great Fox was iconic to the series and I was sad to see it go down too, even if it has a new look from upgrades in this game. What is that Great Fox II thing because it can't compare to the original Great Fox. It should have been rebuilt even if it was the older version. And after all that work in Star Fox Adventures!

its sad that that great fox was ruined.james mccloud had it made and had rob wired.since he died he never got to see either project completed in command they use a retired cornerian shipto fight with lower sheilds and weaker weapons but the availability to fire missiles.this great fox will always be the best

When he was about to hit the shield, his last words should have been

"DOOOOOO A BAAAAAAAAAAARREEELLL ROOOOOOOOOOOOOLLL!!!!" and he makes the Great Wolf do a slow barrel roll as it hits the shield.

And it should look like that scene from Independence Day, where that one dude flies into the alien ship going "I'm BAAACK!" and a flash of white light appears.

the epic of the ending of this game was totally ruined by the fact everyone survived... wolf should have blinked out too (or at least the rest of his team) maybe even a secret level where you play as him escaping alone...
