Thank you, ZenDog! It was great to see Shake Some Action by The Flamin' Groovies and The Woolies' version of Who Do You Love on YouTube! Now, if only I can shake some action around my town (Help! I'm trapped in NE Ohio!).
King Tone! This is the best version. Fantastic bottom, great '60s styled guitar riffs, kickin' drums, and up-front vocals. Musically, this hails from a far better time. Even if I was a young kid, I wouldn't get into what's "trending" these days. No way.
Ok, I'm confused....I have the original album and this sounds very different than the original. So just for knowledge reasons, where did this version come from?
@bobyoung53 Absolutely right. I don't like to download songs. I like to hold the music in my hands, read the booklet, put it on a CD player and not have to use a computer. I like to rip tracks my xbox to listen while playing. What do I do before buying? I see if I like most of the tracks on a CD using youtube. Helps me decide which album/collection to buy.
I heard this one night back in the 70's and instantly became a fan. I went out and ordered the album at the local record store, cuz they're too hip to actually be supported by the mainstream. The Flamin' Groovies man, gotta luv 'em!
I have the original 1976 version on Sire Records. Will YouTube block it also? It would sure be nice if fans old & new could hear the original version.....it's great!!
I sure put this song on the top 20 true "rock" songs of all times ! and the FG best... but please, i hope we get the original version, as this one sound like with the Aussie guitarist... the sound is 80 's and FM mixing satured... bad, as it lost contrary to the effects researched, it lost the energy of the original .
@musicmann1967 It's because YouTube blocks it. Many great songs are blocked by software built in to protect copyrights. I was able to upload this version because it's from a French bootleg.
@ZenDogRadio good music i only listen too albums still a dinosaur i guess but at 55 what can you expect my wife and i love these guys this song makes me wish for the old days of good music
Get up and do the Booga-loo and the Shinga-ling to this one! A rave-up!

This version is great, but in my opinion, the Cracker version better.

@serengiv I agree, it's like the inferior 80's version of Slow Death...missing the original energy...still, it's better than nothing...
