Yes, thanks. I finally cracked it. Thank you again for sorting out the bass for me. I have been off youtube practising, no joke, so i couldnt reply. But thanks :D Sorted!
Lovely tune and nicely played. It's also nice to hear the basses being played as so many players seem to ignore this part of the instrument (I am myself guilty of this at times).
The music (abc or notation) can be found on the Session (dot) Org website in their tunes section. As it won't let me post the url here if you google on song title it's one of the first hits.
Naaaaajs! :D Fortsätt sådär! ;)

Just for the record: It´s called "schottis"...not "scottish", it has nothing to do with Scotland, it´s a dance as well...

Doh I have a D/G melodeon, Im working it out slowly but cant quite get the bass end right. :D

i cant seem to figure out the bass, i got the melody sorted, but im buggered about the bass.
Teddykinso 3 years ago
say you have a DG box and its on your lap.
the bottom bass on the left, go with the inside row on the melody side,
the top left bass go with the outside row.
that works for magor. did this help?

Glad you like it and have cracked it. My first proper box was a Dino - good but a bit heavy.
