In my neighborhood there are more lawn signs for Obama than McCain, and some people have altered their Obama signs to say REPUBLICANS FOR OBAMA - BIDEN, so trust me he is not the only Republican who understands today's GOP is not the same Republican party of Eisenhower. I have lots of respect for people who can think across party lines, like this Republican does.

McCain claims to, but the fact is the only thing that has made him deviate (and in rhetoric alone, his plans stay the same course) from his deregulation mantra, is the greatest recession since the great depression of 1929. Less than a month ago he still tried to stick to his guns. Now he's following Obama's lead on addressing the economy, but in action? Old dogs and new tricks... Think about it.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac got us into this econmic mess. These organizations were supported heavily by Senator Obama. He was 2nd on the list of people who received contributions from them. McCain sponsored legislation to add more regulation, but the democrats shot it down.
