But if you really believe it is, you're only deluding yourself. There do exist in society groups that prey on the weakness and insecurity of others. This is a capitalist society, after all. Everything is a commodity. But, people have a certain responsibility to stand up for their own rights and the rights of others. It would be very easy and convenient if no feathers had to be ruffled in life, but I think you know that's a comfortable lie.
