I remember this performance being the first time I heard him/this song. I don't really listen to country much (nothing against it just listen to other things more) and I guess I happened to have the show running in the background while I was working and I literally stopped everything I was doing to turn around and see who was singing. His voice slays me, it's absolutely amazing!

Josh has a real voice. Many, many singers sound awesome in the studio, but their voices end up sounding so different live. Josh's voice sounds virtually the same in concert and on his records; he has true talent!

I live in Georgetown, SC. The first time I met him, I wasn't too impressed with his musical abilities. His parents go to my church and he comes back every now and then around the holidays. I got to play with him before "Long Black Train" got big; before he got big. He is a really great singer though and I am beginning to listen to his music more and more.

I love how handlinsd must think Josh Turner is gonna care if he doesn't comment on the videos anymore. Trust me, I've been around long enough, and in the music biz long enough... to realize that Josh Turner will endure - in the sense that his music touches enough people (Long Black Train, Would You Go With Me) who will still cherish the nostalgia of hearing that beautiful bass voice years from now. Might not be millions, but then again, since he's early in his career, you never know.
