Hurt would do better to answer for his 2004 vote than piddle about a parody. It makes him look weak and scared. The NRCC is skittish about him, the threat of an independent jumping into the race looms large, and who is 100% convinced he's got the spine to stand up to Nancy Pelosi. He admits he folded under pressure in 2004. How can anyone be sure it won't do it again?
