It is easier and cheaper if you use direct burial landscape lighting cable. Also, when you expand the system DO NOT get a WellSee charge controller, as they are more expensive than a comparable PWM controller (the WellSee is a shoddily built PWM/potential converter controller badged as a MPPT controller). Your PV array at present is too small to justify the added cost of a real MPPT controller, so for now get a PWM controller.
Hey, I had my son help me too when I pulled my wire through the conduit. That extra pair of hands make things a lot easier. I guess it'll be good to have a photo of where you dug your trench for future reference.
You did it! I admire your perseverance, and losing the yellow covering was not a big deal, given the conduit you're using. The conductors look more than adequate. You may want to bury the conduit a bit deeper, though... Keep on trying and I look forward to you next video. You have a great helper!!
@rlewis1946 Thank you for helping to motivate me. :-) I dug some more today, making the trench deeper. Digging into thick rock near the house is slowing me down. Will post more updates. Thanks.
@field16 Forgot to mention: good tip on using that clamp to pull the fish tap! The clamp provided a good, "ergonomic handle", compared to, say, a ViseGrip. RL
@rlewis1946 Thanks. When I tried pulling on the red loop, directly connected to the fish tape, it wouldn't hold on tight and would let the steel tape unwind and come out of the dispenser. So I had to find a way to pull on the tape itself.

Good job! I was wondering how you were going to do it. Perseverence always pays off. (Nice video editting too!)

NICE WIRE. DETERMINATION AND A JOB WELL DONE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. THE WOODEN DRIVER WORKED WELL. I THOUGHT THE END OF THE WOOD WOULD BREAK.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Hey, wtam69... Yes, one reason I made this video was so I would know where the conduit is hidden underground.
