hey so does any one have Sorens settings? my dist is real buzzy, and gross not fat and clear like Sorens, im running a Strat and a AC30 w/greenbacks, any help is appreciated :-)

@diegofr90 I believe so. But do make sure to try it out and make sure it has the features you want, before buying - This is a great system and we're really proud of it, but the best approach to any product is always trying it out for yourself.

Hi! I am using the Nova in pedal mode. I would like to change the volume boostmax to 6db but I am not having success following the manual. I active advanced "on", change to 6db (for example) but the boost function stop working... What am I doing wrong?

Better than stompboxes? - That's really a matter of taste. Quality effects for sure, and in a compact design with the flexibility to switch several effects in/out simultaneously at the push of a single switch. And you even have the option of switching some of the effect blocks on/off just like regular stopboxes. Definately try it out.

No, to get channel switching you'll either have to get Nova Systems big brother G-System or G-Major 2.

@pensatore Thanks for the answer. I might as well go for the gsystem as I thought. I know I could get a Ground Control and a GCX Swither for amp and effects switching. But thats $750 just for a switching system.

Sweet Mary's A**!!! I love my Nova System. It's one of only a handful of pieces of gear that I have liked more and more no matter how much I use it. Here's my setup; G&L Comanche>Crybaby wah>Nova System>Mesa Boogie F50. That's it! Incredibly simple, amazing versatility, and most importantly killer tones.

Amazing pedal, I've had it for 2 years, and it's no toy, sonically superior to Line6 and Boss.

I would love some of the settings soren uses, for the crunch and distortion settings, as well as that fantastic tremolo!

There's enough effects in here to recreate just about any sound, While there is no univibe, you can set up the Chorus and the pitch shifter to recreate it.

I've got a very convincing leslie effect that can be adjusted with an expression pedal!

@MrIcefromheaven does the distortion/overdrive clean up nicely when you roll down the volume knob? it sounds like it articulates all the strings very well

Nova System doesn't have amp simulation. You can plug something like a GT2 or another preamp amp simulation pedal.

But Nova System effects are a thousand miles better then GT8

If you like Nova's overdrive then you have the answer ,so I prefer G-system plus any overdrive pedals like t-rex spindoctor , damage control , vox bulldog and any more ... remember Nova have overdrive and Gsystem not.
