I have come to understand that he simply made some serious mistakes with who he went to under the knife, and is now having his face managed after some very awful damage. However, I am a little perplexed, because he appears to have had a chin implant and his cheeks look larger too. So, perhaps this was done in an effort to restore *facial harmony*, but I would have not increased the cheek width or chin, and well, I just don't know what can be done these days with things like botched lips.

@martymartymarty You can tell he really doesn't want to sing. He admitted in an interview that after the lip botch, it really took a huge affect on his singing ability. Poor Pete. I don't care how he looks, in the end he's still on of my faves and if he's happy then I'm happy.
