The U.S. saved the South Koreans from communization during the Korean War.

The U.S. have also helped South Korea after the Korean Way. Yeah like the Americans love importing cheap Korean cars and electronics.

Probably not. The people protesting have legitimate concerns about U.S. beef. Don't automatically assume it's a plot by a shadowy enemy (as per the knee-jerk American assumption); read up on it. NPR has an article on it I believe.

It seems that Koreans are not good at taking critism from others, nor can they accept the difference. To them, there is no such thing as "in between". Most demonstrators here feel they have to choose one or another, not both.
